Conjure Coffee ~ Union St. Market

"The atmosphere here is super cool. Right in the middle of the market. My boyfriend and I have been wanting to try conjure coffee for awhile now the coffee was okay. The thing that got to me was the fact that we waited in like for like 10 mins why the cashier was talking to a group of friends it looked like. I had no problem standing there while we looked at the menu. I’ve worked in food service before but this girl as the cashier was ridiculous. My bf doesn’t drink coffee normally and asked a few questions, the entire time she is being very condescending, and I know people have bad days but wow. We walked away very disappointed. It was very unpleasant experience."

"The first time I had Earl Grey gelato was 6 years ago and my life changed. I thought it was the greatest gelato I had ever had! Unfortunately, the business closed down and I’ve been on the hunt for it ever since. Needless to stay, I was absolutely STOKED to see Earl Grey on the menu when dining at Electric Works, though I was unaware of the 6pm closing time. No big deal, these things happen, so I decided to come back a few days later as soon as I got out of work at 5pm. After rushing and hustling through traffic, I finally get to Electric Works, park my car and decide that today’s the day I’m starting with dessert for dinner! Earl Grey gelato here I come! My mouth, body, heart and soul were SO ready, and those closest to me knew how excited I was because I told everyone that I finally found Earl Grey gelato! I know it’s silly, I’m silly, but it’s the little things in life….only to be severely let down. When I was finally acknowledged by the young lady behind the counter, I was told that they had already stopped serving gelato for the day. While I knew that I had arrived 15 minutes till closing, I thought surely that would warrant enough time to serve gelato. Confused, I asked “Well, when does one have to get here if they want gelato?” I was thinking “Is there some weird hours for the gelato portion of this business or something? Do I need to come by during lunch time?” I was told, “It just depends on the time and the person.” I was totally confused but wasn’t in the mood to debate with someone who clearly didn’t want to take a minute to lift the plastic wrap from the gelato container, and serve me the gallon I was ready to order. I was crushed. I get it, I’ve worked in F&B, I’ve been a closing manager, I’ve had those customers that come in 5 minutes till closing and all you want to do is go home, go to school, or just tend to one of many life’s responsibilities as soon as you get out, but that’s not how it works. I also know customer service, and she doesn’t have it, at least not for my experience. Aside from my lack of gelato, she was unaware of her customers waiting for her to notice them, she appeared disinterested, and couldn’t even smile. Any other day, those things don’t bother me and I don’t leave reviews. I don’t care, be a jerk, be in a mood, but let me order what I want and we both go on with our days. Maybe that day wasn’t her day, we’ve all been there. But when you choose to go to work, you still have a job to do and a level of service that your customers should be met with. I was only in town for a week, and I have no idea when I’ll be back. Just wanted to share how truly disappointed I am for the both of us. My tastebuds and your Earl Grey gelato sales that week could’ve have the best week ever."

"Closed early. I stopped in at 8:15 to buy some beans to take back to Indianapolis with me. The hours for this location state they are open until 9pm, but sign posted at the register saying they closed. Disappointing because I like this coffee a lot. Please update Google business or stay until posted. Updated 7/12: working on making things right. Appreciate it Conjure."

"Cojure delivers as always! Great coffee and beverage selection in a super enjoyable space. The Cafe Miel is my favorite drink and Conjure makes the best one in town."
