"Today, I took my son out for lunch, and he wanted some Mexican food. We selected El Charro because of the Upside app giving 17% cash back. We found the food to be good. The atmosphere was nice and friendly. The manager seated us, and we immediately received salsa and chips. Our waiter was enjoyable to talk to and took our drink order right away and allowed us a minute to survey the menu. We ate lunch and the food was brought to us fast and was hot. I ordered the Chicken Fujita, and my son ordered the #4 off the lunch menu. Our waiter made sure our drinks were filled and stopped by frequently to make sure we were alright. The cost of both meals was just $21. We were satisfied with our dining experience."

"Always amazing. Definitely a local favorite. Personally, it's my absolute favorite spot for Mexican food within the city. The pricing is great, you won't get much better than this with places around the city. The food is PERFECT. I've never had their food and didn't love it. They are always spot on, and you get an incredible portion size. The staff is great! Very friendly, knowledgable, and informative. Highly recommend when looking for a place to visit!"

"This place is pretty good. Just average Mexican food. The veggies in the Fajitas could be cooked longer to improve the flavor, which can be said of most restaurants. I would probably eat here again."

"Here's a Tex-Mex as it should be. Good portions, good eats and great prices. I got a good sized burrito for lunch for 9 bucks. A drink and some decent queso on the side kept me under 15 total. It was busy for lunch but the food came out super fast. The staff was attentive and the facility was clean. It's fast, cheap Tex-Mex so if you come expecting that you'll leave happy. They do have a drive through!"

"Always great food and nice staff. The lunch special prices are hard to beat. Can't recommend the street tacos or the Pancho villa enough! Not only is the food great but the owner does a lot for the community, especially for teachers and schools on the west side."
