"A good program for people seeking to change their life! Faith based and surrounded with people that truly care!"
"Ashley was the little girl that I had every weekend before moving to Florida and I missed my grandchildren very much. Through a phone call I found out not long after my move that she had been molested. My heart ached as I wanted her to get as much counseling as possible in hope this would help. Plus I also knew she also had issues to deal with about her mother and fathers divorce. Plus she has issues we with her father as well. But they had to work these out between themselves I knew. I always said to her, you need to love him but you don't always like what he does. As she grew up into a teenager we really didn't have much contact between us due to the miles between us except when I visited Warsaw. When I did visit I didn't see very much of her as she was always out with her friends, or at least I was told these were her friends. I was very hurt but always had her in prayers and would hope in the next year it would be a better visit and I would see her more. We were both on Facebook but not much communication there either. My visit in October 2016 is when I knew she was for sure doing some sort of drugs. She only saw me one time as she wasn't the Ashley that I thought I knew. My heart ached. She was skinny and very distant at that time. When talking with her parents over the time I found out she was into heavier drugs which sadden me. It was so very hard to believe, she was my baby. Then someone told me that she had gotten picked up and was in jail and check it out on InkFree link. Yes she was and I cried when I saw her picture and read the charges not knowing what was really happening as either parents were keeping it from me or they didn't know either. My heart was broken thinking her 21st birthday was coming up and she was going to be in jail. My only communication was writing letters back and forth. Then i was told she was being transferred to a place called "All Thing New". I had never heard of this place before and I was sure it had to be better than jail. Ashley and I wrote many, many letters back and forth. I would send pictures of family members so she would know we all were her support sysyem. Then after finishing her steps of accomplishments sh err was entitled to have phone calls. If I remember correctly, she called me first. I was at work and all I could do was cry listening to her voice. We said that every Tuesday we would talk as she had more free time then. We only got 10 minutes to speak but it was the most rewarding every week and I always looked forward to that day and for sure planned around it to make sure I was free. In our conversations she would tell me about the home and things that she was doing. Not knowing much about the home Ashley was staying in, I planned my visit to "ALL Things New" in 2016. I was able to meet and talk with Bill Fawley, Cheryl, Ashley's mentor and other workers in the home. Plus we were given a tour of the facility. Bill explained how this home got its start and shared information about the home. I fell in love with the home and all the workers that are involved and support these girls. I also went to the church on Sunday that Ashley was involved with. They also are very supportive of this home. This years visit is a little different as Ashley is now in work release. I have seen her three times at her half hour lunch time and that is all. But I know in my heart she has turned her life around as she knows she has God looking over her. She also still has the support of "All Things New" as they go above and beyond with their help. She also has lots of new friends plus all of her family. I am very proud to call her my granddaughter. I am still in Hope's she will share her writing paper with all of what she as been through. I would never put her down and will always love her dearly."
