"Just went to food bank ..lady was very helpful ..they are closing the end of October ..going to be under new management"
"Amazing store, very friendly staff. I love shopping here knowing that the money spent benefits those in need. The owner does A LOT for the community. Stop in and have a look around!"
"A lot of dirty items and most anything of value is not for sale or unmarked. When I asked the clerk why he said some stickers fall off. Yes I realize that but not on 99 per cent of the items. Or why not find another type of sticker? I have shopped other Our Father's House stores so I am really shocked."
"Very friendly staff and volunteers. Be prepared to spend some time there looking through the store, just remember to bring cash or a check because they don’t take debit or credit. Sometimes you can find new clothes. There’s a lot of hidden treasure in the store. You never know what you will find. They also have a kitchen for lunch Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday last I heard. On top of that, they have a food pantry that helps a lot that can be visited once a week. In August, they help with back to school needs, and it’s difficult to leave empty-handed. I’ve never seen anyone turned away who is in need."
"This place is the love child of goodwill, salvation army, flea market and a really big garage sale. Your purchases support a food kitchen. The building has a rustic "my god I'm going to die" sweat shop vibe that makes hunting for treasures as much a Indiana Jones adventure as anything else you can find and it's FREE. The building is jammed with donations of furniture, cabinets, and odd and ends from the community. Purchases work allot like the tourist markets found in any cruise ship port of call. You find what you like, ask how much, they tell you how much they want, you laugh, make offer, responded with how much they have in it, to which you start to walk away, and then it starts all over. It's GREAT! If you like the clean sterile box store environment where everything is neatly priced and shelved, you will surely be disappointed. If you like adventure and want to help feed the community this place will make you feel wonderful!"
