Pizza King | Plainfield | Midwest Pizza King

"I typically order from the Mooresville location. I grew up on this pizza and it's me and my children's favorite ( I've had a bad day) food. The hours are better at the Plainfield location so we gave it a shot. It's a waste of money. Three large pepperoni pizzas...DROWNED in sauce...REALLY skimpy on the pepperoni...Im so very disappointed. They looked GREAT....until you take a bite. I tried VERY HARD to like this...but I just couldn't choke it down."

"Orderd for the first time today and it did not disappoint. The pizza was loaded with plenty of pepperoni and cheese and cooked perfectly. The breadsticks were fluffy and buttery and the boneless chicken with BBQ was awesome! We will definitely be coming back for more!"

"I live in California now, but grew up eating Pizza King. I read online that (thanks Yelp!) this was one of the best Pizza King's in Central Indiana and my mom and I headed over. It exceeded expectations. 1. Colorful paint job on the exterior and clean and tidy on the inside. 2. Interior has a handful of tables for dining in. Most folks seem to get delivery or take out. We dined in. 3. The menu has more offerings than other Pizza Kings, including fish sandwiches, fried pork tenderloin sandwiches, Broaster chicken and other dishes. 4. Midwest PK has a salad bar, but, I opted for a prepared Simple Salad with Honey French dressing. It was very tasty, even if a bit messy to eat , given it came packed into a Styrofoam container and I had to pour some out onto a plate to get started. It came with a breadstick. 5. We had an order of mozzarella sticks that were pretty tasty if you need your fried food fix. 6. We had a 14" cheese and marinara pizza and it was absolutely delicious. The manager told us the store has new ovens and it has only made the pizzas better – he was right. The pizza was crispy on the edges, not overly cheesy (unlike most Hoosiers, are we are not into pizzas drenched in cheese) and very tasty. 7. We wrapped up our meal with an Oreo cheesecake by the famed Cheesecake Lady, which was a nice treat. 8. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The biggest disappointment was the use of Styrofoam products. I would like to see restaurants start to move past Styrofoam to products that are either biodegradable or recyclable. Styrofoam is neither. It takes 500 years to degrade in a landfill. Restaurants in Indiana have other options and need to move past this wasteful product. Get rid of it and you'll have five stars from me! The pizza, salads and service were great. Highly recommend this PK for food and service."

"After frequenting the Pizza Kings in Avon and Muncie, my mom and I couldn't wait to try this location when we saw that it had opened! Even though the dining area is fairly modest at the moment (only 5 or so tables), they're making the most of the space they have, and all while being friendly and efficient. Everything we ordered came out very quickly and tasted great. The fries and corn dogs had a wonderful crunchy outside with a perfectly-cooked inside, the breadsticks were soft and paired great with the nacho cheese, the brownie was warmed to ooey-gooey perfection, and the pizza had the reliable signature look and taste that we love. We'll definitely be stopping by here again!"
