"I love Aldi. The average Publix shopper might complain about "renting" shopping carts or the way you have to bag your own items, but you get used to it very quickly once you leave with a cart FULL of food for just over $100... And it doesn't matter how long a check out line is, the cashiers move very quickly and you never have to wait long. They've also recently installed self-checkout aisles so if you prefer not to deal with anyone you have that option. I've never had any issues with items being out of stock, the employees are all friendly and I've never once seen anyone with the "I hate my job and you" face that you see on employees at other grocery stores. Aldi is also a great place to find unique gifts and household items. The best part? THE CHOCOLATE. Dear Lord above, the chocolate. Just about everything is imported from Germany or Switzerland, so the taste and quality is just to die for. If you're a fan of chocolate and you haven't been to Aldi during Christmas or Easter, it is IMPERATIVE that you go, trust me."
