"Not sure what's going on with Avon Appliance. After doing business with them, they will not answer calls, emails or text messages. They seem to rarely be at the location where their business is located, so trying to have any interaction with them is very unlikely to happen. It seems that many of the complaints here are telling that when there is a problem with a purchased reconditioned appliance, the owners can't be reached. So going to another reconditioned appliance store (where the staff can be reached) seems to be the logical thing to do in the future."

"We had OLD front load washer and dryers that we needed to get rid of and they came and picked them up for free within an hour of us calling. Today we thought our heating element went out of our dryer and my husband took it to them and he found the problem and fixed it for free just for us donating those OLD front loaders a week ago. Nice guy, we will always use him for future issues."

"I have never made a review, but this place warrants one. Horrible service. We received 2 different dryers and neither one actually dried anything. They don’t give you the 90 day warranty until after you pay, which says they will not give refunds. They will only service it for 90 days. Then they actually told me that it was my fault that it didn’t work and hung up on me. I finally gave up and quit calling them bc I was spending more money in gas taking it back and forth. I would never recommend this place to anyone."

"If I could give negative stars I would. They gave us a rusty, duty, old and misty broken down washer. They came to our home picked up our broken washer and left us this mess. After they came to "repair" it a few hours later, they made a mess then refused to give us the money back until a proper washer was brought to us , or until this one was fixed. Things escalated and the police had to be called to remove them from our home. It was not worth the entire day I sat at home waiting for a phone call back in when they were coming. Not worth my time or my landlords money."

"Brought a used washer 3 hours after they said they would be here. Find out afterwards it doesn't even take in water, they come back hour and a half later from 30 mins away. The guy says I'll have to bring a switch in the morning to which I respond I'm gonna need my money back until then. Dude threatens me saying he is 300 pounds lol. Cops are called by my wife to settle it since these ppl are absolute creeps. Was even kind enough to give them water when they came in. Do not recommend these ppl at all!"
