"Could be a 5 star but half the time when I enter my phone number for the digital coupons at check out it doesn't actually use the coupons or doesn't ring up the items that are advertised in store on sale and I end up paying full price for the items that I wouldn't have bought if they wasn't on sale. I've been to several dollar generals in dif towns on the same day and all will be consistent with sales and clearance except for this one which has their prices jacked up and sales way later than all the others because they are the only store in town and monopolies and exploits the fact that people don't want to drive the extra 15 miles any way around to get the couple items they need. Small town store with big city prices just because they can. Sales never ring up right, like 1 time out of the last 10 times I been there. Just the other day, I found some cereal on the shelf that was outdated(had a campaign on front that ended Dec 2022) with an expiration date of July 2023. It's now Oct 2023. Took the box to the associate working and let her know that they were expired and there were several on the shelf still. She said thank you and took the box from me. Came back a week later and it was not only still on the shelf but the box I gave her was put back on there and I know this because their was 5 boxes of them when I grabbed one and there were 5 boxes when I came back. So they are knowingly selling expired food products and of course at $5 a box. They spray painted their dumpster with a no trespassing, which makes it look trashy. Who cares if people wanna dumpster dive. Some people can't afford the city prices and have to just get what their family needs. It's private property with public access, so it's not like they are breaking the law. Leave them be, I'm sure if they didn't need it, they wouldn't be doing it. If I physically could, I would need to as well with these prices and never getting the sale prices, nor do they honor prices when items are put somewhere clearly marked a dif price. Otherwise, most of the employees are polite. They leave you be, to do your shopping, self checkout never works right and belt at checkout don't seem to work. Needless to say if you can shop before coming to town I would, if your wanting the sale prices without having to examine your receipt and go back into the store again I would shop before coming to town, if you don't want to have to check every single food items expire dates I'd shop before hand. It was this bad 4 years ago when I first started coming over here, but it's went downhill. Forget the good sale items. They are pulled before anyone can even get into the store in the mornings for the employees or to throw away before customers can catch a break. I only shop here if I absolutely need to and can't get to one of the surrounding towns. Lower the prices down to small town prices, clean up the shelves from expired products, fix the registers, honor sale prices and give customers the excitement of finding some of the good sale items and leave those who already are swallowing their pride by needing to dumpster dive alone and not make an already hard life harder by making it a show for everyone to point fingers and judge at. Don't exploit the fact that you're the only store in town."
"When I walked in the door Christina greeted me immediately and asked if she could help me with anything, and I she helped me find everything I was looking for, and even walked with me and showed me exactly where ro find these things. I've never went into a Dollar Store and had such great service. Christina answered all our questions and seemed to know the store and the best options available. I was totally very impressed. I hope that she will be made aware of my review and know that we appreciate her very much, and will definitely be visiting those Store alot more often. I live in Winchester and don't mind driving to Ridgeville to shop for all our needs for now on, because of how wonderful she meets her customers needs. Again I really appreciate everything she did for us. My Fiance and I appreciate her so much."

"Stopped in at 6:41 pm. They close at nine. The doors were locked with a sign on the door that read βNo help.β I could clearly see two employees through the door, So I left and drove to the Winchester Walmart."
"Parked car on the side of the store me and my mother went to a different town to a different Dollar General Store cuz you know you don't ship I every a lot of stuff and now we're drug dealers I don't know if she's a manager assistant manager of what she is but I think it's cute but call me a drug dealer I think that's Aspen I don't think she needs to be running her mouth the people like she does she is a very poor quality person I don't know why you were hire such people"
