"I don’t go to Mary Lou’s very often but I always get maple fluff long John’s it’s always hit or miss if your going to get much fluff so I asked for some fluff in a cup. The lady said it was full and handed me my change when she came back to give me my donuts I asked what she meant when she said it’s full. She said there stuffed and closed the window needless to say there was hardly any fluff in them I cut it length wise and took pictures. I paid $7.50 for three donuts and they need to be ashamed. I asked for extra fluff and I usually pay 50 cents for it. So much for customer service if they need to see pictures I’m more than happy to take them to the store. I got dough with icing on top for $2.50 each I’m done if I want something sweet I’ll go buy a sheet of cake. I went through the drive thur"
"Asked for hot water was told one machine was broken and the other dribbled out cool water. I asked to just use a microwave but was told that is was only for employees. So much for taking care of your customers! What’s this world coming to when you can’t put a cup of water in the microwave for a couple of minutes."
"Went in to get last min donuts and coffee for a work event, got 2 dozen donuts, box of coffee, and a idk what it's called but a blueberry pastry pie? All of it was amazing. They also had competitive pricing. Will definitely be back."
"The donuts we purchased this morning were less than what I expect from a place that has always had such delicious donuts. The cinnamon rolls were very sloppily iced with barely any icing on them and were very dry. They long Johns tastes stale and were hard like they were from yesterday. I understand making donuts ahead of time but if you are going to do that then your quality needs to be on point. We wasted $16 on donuts that tasted like they came from Walmart. Please do better Mary Lou’s……. I might add when the owner responds to criticism they seem to like to try to embarrass customers when they critique the food they have paid for. Part of being a business owner is taking criticism. You aren’t the one paying for your product so if a customer wants to leave reviews of some they THEY paid for maybe show some grace and be a decent human being and fix the problem instead of trying to blame to customer. I added a photo of the cinnamon roll so you can see how sloppy your products have become."
"5/9 I have to give the young lady on duty around 11:45 a shout out for being patient and friendly. My wife usually gets donuts. I'm not familiar with the set up or the menu. I travel so I get my fix out of state. I had a nice experience! You can't go at noon and expect them to have all you want. I like a business that once it's out you miss out. It means they're food is freshly made. The young girl was totally cool explaining what they had left. She did not rush me, and gave me several options. I ordered a custard, and it was filled to enjoy every bite! My kids knew what they wanted and they were in stock! Great donuts! If you're ever in Lafayette, make this a memorable trip and try our donut shop!"
