"So good! We had a party of 3 and had no wait. The server was discombobulated so the wait was little. I first dined on the fried shrimp appetizer: SPICY but very good. It came with their homemade ranch; to die for! I had the biggest cheese burger ever! So good! After our party had cinnamon cheese cake. The best cheese cake I’ve ever had! We were there right after the lunch rush so it was so quiet! I would definitely come back, especially because Purdue won!"

"While it carries the same name as the Walt's Pub across the river, this location has a different menu. It seems to be a little more upscale and healthier in their options (sorry folks, no deep-fried Boilermaker sandwich). The building is done up very nicely and has a great open, yet cozy atmosphere. This feels a lot more like a joint where you would take a hot date, rather than pound a few down with your buds. Service is solid. The food is pretty conservative and uninteresting. This is the type of place you go to when you have that picky eater in your group. They've improved greatly since opening. I had brunch here recently and it was excellent. The portions were large at a reasonable price. Even the kids meals were impressive. They don't have a large brunch selection, but that probably improves efficiency and makes choosing easier."

"Walt's has a big enough variety of food for feeding a group, but not so much that it becomes overwhelming. I especially love the freshness and quality of their vegetables and meat - steak, chicken and fish. So far, our family recommends anything with the pub sauce, honey garlic chicken, salads and burgers. The chicken is a big favorite among our athletes. * Valerie is a great server - attentive, kind and quick!"
