"Title: Disappointed with the Lack of Knowledgeable Staff at Best Buy Rating: ★★☆☆☆ I recently visited Best Buy with high hopes of finding knowledgeable staff who could provide genuine assistance and guidance while purchasing electronics. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired in terms of the expertise and helpfulness of the employees. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by a few employees, but their lackluster enthusiasm and disinterest in assisting customers was apparent. I approached a staff member in the TV section to inquire about the latest models and their features. To my disappointment, they seemed clueless and failed to provide any valuable insights or recommendations. It was evident that they lacked the necessary product knowledge and understanding to assist customers effectively. Moving on to the laptop department, I encountered a similar scenario. As I had specific requirements and preferences, I was hoping for someone who could provide detailed information about the available options. Unfortunately, the employee I approached seemed disengaged and uninterested in helping me. They struggled to answer even basic questions, leaving me frustrated and dissatisfied. Moreover, I noticed that the staff seemed more focused on chatting among themselves or playing with their smartphones rather than proactively assisting customers. It was disheartening to witness their lack of attentiveness, especially when it was clear that some customers were in need of assistance. While I understand that not every employee can be an expert in every product, I expected Best Buy to have a team that possessed a minimum level of knowledge across their range of products. It seems as though the company fails to prioritize training and development for their staff, resulting in a subpar customer experience. Despite the disappointing experience with the staff, I must commend the store's layout and wide selection of products. Best Buy offers an extensive range of electronics, and their prices are generally competitive. However, without knowledgeable staff to guide customers through their purchasing decisions, the overall shopping experience falls short of expectations. In conclusion, my visit to Best Buy left me thoroughly disappointed with the lack of knowledgeable and helpful staff. The absence of well-informed employees hindered my ability to make informed decisions and left me feeling frustrated. I hope that Best Buy takes steps to address this issue and invests in training their staff adequately to provide a better customer experience in the future."

"If I could rate it a 0/5, I would. We ordered a washer and dryer and had to wait until the end of the holidays to have it delivered which was no big deal. However, since this is the first house me and my wife have been in, we did not have a past washer / dryer to do any laundry. The end of the holidays rolled around and they showed up fairly early. They forgot the power cable for the dryer and said it would most likely be another week before they could get back out.....for a simple power cable. I went to the store in person to try and receive some sort of compensation for their error but was told they couldn't do anything out side of refund me for the installation service. I chose to do this, and to receive the cable while I was there in order to do it myself. When looking at the receipt, they also ordered the wrong cable (my outlet was a 4 prong, they had a 3 prong). All in all absolutely AWFUL customer support / service."

"Went last night to pick up my new iPhone 14 Max Pro I ordered online. This would be the 3rd iPhone I have ordered from several Best Buys in different states. I started coming to Best Buy for the great customer service and helpfulness with this process. The gentleman was very nice however, he told had me erase my old iPhone before the new one was even turned on, then just handed me the box and said "We don't help set them up anymore"... Then I asked, can you at least make sure it's activated, he said, it is. Well, after getting home and several hours... It was not activated. I also lost a lot of my data even though my phone was just backed up, and the data I lost was text messages from my late father that I will now never get back. So if you need a new phone, just go to the actual cell phone store because Best Buy will not help you. Highly not recommend this store...."

"Well organized and maintained store. Employees helpful, knowledgeable and gave recommendations for a good router for my budget and needs. Employee at counter helped with price matching. Digital displays for price and info for all products which is very cool. Homescapes demo only has three levels :("
