"We went at 4pm on a Wednesday. We had the place to ourselves. Once you receive your food, you are on your own to refill your drinks and grab to-go containers. No one came to check on us. There were items unavailable to try, but overall it was good."

"What a Great BBQ Dinner.. We we're greeted with a smile and how can I help you. The portions are more than usual BBQ places give you. We ordered the 3 meats for $25.00 ×2. We added on a side of potato salad and macaroni and cheese. There are two places where you can sit and eat. If you're 21 and older, you can go to the non-smoking bar or go in the dining room. The pulled pork was very tender. The brisket was delicious and fell apart. The pulled chicken was hot and juicy. Pickles , onions, and bread come automatically with the meal.. The potato salad was made old school and was delicious. The macaroni and cheese is delicious too.. Thank You for an Awesome Dinner..."

"My husband and I both said we haven’t had bbq this good since we were in TN. What we’ve had in NWI doesn't even come close to Lucy’s! We ordered the three, half-pound meat option and selected brisket, ribs, and pulled pork. For sides we chose baked beans, slaw, and mac & cheese. We loved everything. I was stunned that the restaurant wasn’t full at 5:00 pm. It should have been because the food was fantastic. It’s off the beaten path, and those are often the best places. Even if you’re not local it’s well-worth the drive. You have to try it, especially the brisket! * My husband took the photo after we started digging in, but that platter was full!"

"Delicious food, great portions and great prices. Very fast service. Been here a handful of times since it opened and it’s been great every single time. Tender brisket, unique smoked cheeseburgers, and flavorful sausage and ribs. Sides are on point. A very welcome addition to Lowell for sure."

"My husband and I are going to be in trouble with Lucy's BBQ right around the corner because OH MY GOSH! When I tell yall this is some of the best, if not, THE best bbq we have ever had!! We wanted to try as much as possible so we opted for a brisket sandwich, smoked cheeseburger, 1/2lb jalapeño cheddar sausage, and 3 small sides: potato salad, mac n cheese, and elote. We wanted to try the frito pie as well, but after being only open for a little over 24hr, they were sold out. The sandwiches came on delicious buns with pickles and onions. The burger had a sauce on it as well. The brisket was the best brisket we have ever had. We have been very loyal to the bbq place down the road a bit, but Lucy's will be taking all of our business now! The smoked burger was like nothing I've ever had before. I wasn't expecting to be hit with the smokey flavor, but it's there, and it's good!!! Both sandwiches were also huge!! My only critique is that I wish they had packaged the burger and brisket sandwiches separately. The cheese oozed onto the brisket, and my husband can't have cheese, so I had to take one for the team. Maybe small containers to separate sandwiches in the future. The sides were also fantastic. The mac n cheese had great flavor and just the right amount of cheese. The elote was good, and they didn't skimp on the toppings! The potato salad, though. When I tell you I've been searching for 4 years to find a salad that tasted like one I had in the south, well, this one is it. In my opinion, it just needs hard-boiled eggs in it to put it at the best potato salad I've ever had, but I will still be ordering it every time! Lucy's BBQ, you have outdone yourself, and we are beyond glad to have you in our neighborhood! We will see yall often!"
