"We love going to this place. We have never had a bad experience whether it be w/service, food or accommodations. I had made reservations for 4 people but had to change to 6 & was not a problem. Had my 1st martini (chocolate-can't remember name) & it was excellent. I highly recommend this place!! It is a bit expensive but for the good food, service & staff it is so worth it!!"
"Jeff was a wonderful server! He informed us of all the specials in great detail, was attentive, and even wished us a Happy Anniversary! We enjoyed the crab stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer, filet mignon and shrimp as our main courses, and a complimentary bread pudding for dessert in honor of our anniversary. This was a fantastic end to our anniversary. Definitely a favorite in town for any special occasion. Shown in the photos below: crab stuffed mushrooms, filet mignon with hollandaise, jumbo shrimp with broccoli cheddar casserole, seafood bisque"
"This was our second visit. We had a wonderful dining experience last year so we would like to give this place a second try. First thing first, the atmosphere was superb as usual, it was in an old stable. Highly recommend folks to come and experience it. As for the food, we thought they were not as good as before. Perhaps that was because we went to this place at 8pm last time. Overall the food quality was still great. Though it was a bit pricey."
"Came here for dinner on a Tuesday evening. Loved the inside and the history. I had the chicken with bernaise sauce with garlic mashed potatoes. There is a bread basket to start with and comes with butter and some sort of spread with parmesan cheese and it was fantastic. The meal also included soup or salad. By recommendation of our server I had the wedge of lettuce with a blue cheese and balsamic glaze and it was fabulous. I typically don't eat all of my dinner salads but I devoured the whole of this one because it was outstanding. My chicken and potatoes were delightful and I unfortunately didn't have room for dessert. Will was our server and he was entertaining and super attentive, refilling my iced tea about 4 times. Fabulous dining experience."
"Celebrated a birthday here last night. Pro tip: this place gets busy around Valentine's day, so make your res in advance. All of the meat dishes, salad, soups were terrific. Knowledgeable wait staff, great wine list, terrific ambience. Best dessert - bread pudding!"
