"I've reviewed McDonald's before and as always we get great food and service. I just wanted to let you know that they have a McDonald's App available for free in the Apple Store and the Google Play Store. After I downloaded the app I got free food immediately and then every time that you use the app you get points for free food and they have deals and offers and offer free food just about all of the time. Great quality and value and the app is very easy to navigate and user friendly. Be sure and download the free app and you'll be on your way to free stuff from McDonald's. Enjoy!!!"
"We visited the Gilbert St. location during breakfast in order for the kids to play in the playplace. My daughter tried to use the family restroom next to the kids area and immediately came back out disgusted. She showed me spots of blood someone had left all over the toilet and floor. What's worse, an employee had gone into the bathroom right before my child and also immediately came back out. Instead of cleaning the bathroom, the young worker went back to work and left the mess."
"So much for having it your way. Ordered fresh fries and what I got was far from fresh. If you special order your food, I would suggest you check your bag while at the window."
"Update. Still nothing good. Got fries without salt because of previous experience. As far as the sandwich goes, a Picture is worth 1000 words (see 5000 words of pictures posted). Got spicy deluxe crispy chicken. Was literally thrown together. Unfortunately, the left over, unexpected salad left in sandwich box was not appealing, thus, I have no words... Umm, mom said if you can't say nothing good, don't say nothing at all. So I have little to say. The fries are good when they aren't over-salted(rare). I wish someone would train them all how to salt fries correctly. Crew needs to learn what excellence and a sense of urgency is in a fast food environment, and that goes for all the McDonalds in the area. When they get it right (30% of the time) its good! Like Forrest Gump said, "that's all I have to say about that." p.s. They act like some things are rocket science and too hard to do or cant be done, i.e. I ask for a breakfast burrito w/o sausage(cutting down on pork) they say it cant be done, but how hard is it to take burrito, slap a pc of cheese and a premade scrambled egg on and wrap it up? Guess I'm a genius and so is the McD's lady in Champaign who did it w/o a problem. Fin."
"Lunchtime stop-in left a lot to be desired. Arrived to no staff at order counter and resorted to the only working self-order kiosk. This ordering method takes more time to navigate and during the process witnessed two other customers get their orders in before I submitted my order (they did arrive after us). After placing my order I visited the restroom. These facilities were dirty and no toilet paper - a parents worst nightmare. I went out and waited - again - for someone to come to the ordering counter so I could share that I needed toilet paper. The staff member hollered for a colleague and never came back with toilet paper... I ended up using food napkins from the drink fountain station. Food order was a very long wait. During this wait I watched multiple employees doing the same task (restocking apple juices) which seemed redundant and also gave the impression that there was no sense of urgency in serving guests. The floors throughout the restaurant were slippery and greasy feeling. The play place was open, but we didn’t use it. After a long ordeal we got back on the road after eating quickly - 45 minutes later! The kids and I felt let down by the experience."
