"8/26/18 I stopped in after work to buy a new pair of kicks. The cashier was very friendly and helpful. She had a great personality. Excellent people skills. She Made me feel comfortable and excited about spending my money at this location. I ended up choosing [Jordan Lift Off]. My method of payment was (payroll) card. .....Today is 9/15/18. I decided to make a quick trip to this location to possibly exchange the unworn sneakers for a different pair of a classic original type of Jordan sneakers and pay the difference on such pair or get a full refund if I couldn't find anything to exchange them for out of the sneakers on display. The cashier that ended up assisting me this time around started out friendly. I explained to him my situation but he didn't bother to help me find a classic/original pair from the wall display or tell me if whether or not there were any on display or available online. The only advice he gave to me after hearing me out was that I'm allowed to exchange them for another pair. Which I already knew that. Duhhh.... However,I'm not a huge Jordan fanatic so I really couldn't identity any of the sneakers on display as original or if they were just another newly released pair of Jordan sneakers that has an inspired design by an original style of Jordan sneaker. In the mist of our conversation, I watched his demeanor go from friendly to slightly agitated so I just asked him for a refund. I wasn't being properly assisted at all. Even so, I remained cheerful and smiled. He then asked me for the receipt and card to apply the refund. He informed me that their policy is that the refund can only be applied to the same card used to make the purchase. I told him that I no longer have the card. Long story short he was eventually instructed over the phone by customer service to tell me to leave the return with them and that a I will be receiving a refund check in the mail within 5 to 10 business days. I asked him if he needed my I.D to confirm my address and he replied that they will use the one that they have in the system that was entered in the system during the initial purchase. I smiled, thanked him, and left Once I arrived home, I called customer service to speak with a customer care rep. Turns out, the check was getting ready to be mailed to the wrong address. The address they had used was 1600 N Rt 50 Bourbonnais, Il 60914. The customer care rep took care of the situation for me and I provided the correct information. The CC rep also informed me that this process will be a bit delayed due to the fact that the previous check needs to be cancelled before he can get the correct one processed. I was pleased with his assistance and great service. Better late than never. I will never shop at this location again though. I just wanted an exchange but ended up going through this delayed process all because the cashier was not engaged in our conversation enough to meet my expectations."
