"Got an estimate of how much it would be for my vehicle repaired completely. Agreed to price. Noone called to tell me my vehicle was ready. When I called, I was told they lost the original key to my vehicle he had to get another made and most of his profit went towards replacing my key. Not my problem. When I got there to get my vehicle, it was not properly completed. The mouldings was not tightly attached to the vehicle. I was told the mouldings wasn't included in the price..I'm like what???? This was a part of the repair estimate! I was told my vehicle would be cleaned up, etc. NOT DONE...I assume since my key was lost and he had to get another, that he would spend the money nor time to repair my vehicle correctly..Long story short..Never ever again! I only gave 2 stars because the paint was ok."

"I believe this is the first time I've ever written a bad review for a business, but I feel I must in this case to protect others. Last year, I had contracted with Payne's Body shop to have a car repaired which was damaged in a parking lot by one of my kids. I agreed to pay all charges to repair the car which totaled about $1350. The owner of the car said it was taking too long to get the car repaired, so she was going to have it fixed elsewhere. I agreed to pay her directly and get reimbursed by Payne's. Even though the owner of Payne's promised to send me my money back, it has been over a year and I have not received my money back. I have tried countless time to contact the owner of Payne's but he never returns my calls and is always "out of the office". I contacted the BBB to see if they can help. They just notified me that he is not responding to them either. So now I will have to pursue legals means to get my money back. Beware of doing business with Payne's, and if you do, request the work be done BEFORE you pay. As a business owner, I cannot imagine attempting to treat a potential customer in this way. I guess he already spent my money!!!"
