"Great food, great service - Steaks & Seafood are at market price. We got Breaded Mushrooms & Fried Pickles for appetizers- the pickles were strong & had good flavor, the mushrooms were cooked well & had a yummy layer of batter. I had the 8 oz sirloin with Grilled Broccoli & tater tots (loved loved) others in my party had the BBQ burger (double trouble), a different burger & the crab leg clusters (which was the daily special). As a note, there is a surcharge if you do not pay in cash, unsure if it was a % or a $5 flat fee, as we did not see that disclosed anywhere - but Everyone loved the food, 0 complaints & would stop by when near again!"
"Find this gem on our way from NOLA to Memphis. Our server, Austin, I believe, was very helpful and prompt. We came at the end of the day, but nobody rushed us or made us feel like we needed to get out. We had the pulled pork - so yummy. Prefecture cooked and moist. We tried the baked beans, coleslaw, Mac and cheese, and potato salad. The mac was nothing out of the ordinary but good. The other side were all delicious. 10/10 would recommend."
"What a unique place. The food was good but the service staff really needs an overhaul in appearance. The white Walmart T-shirt with stains and stretched out neck along with oversized black cargo pants isn't appropriate for staff serving food, greeting people, or whatever. If you're charging $40 to $55 for a small steak and $35 for crab legs your staff needs to look the part. The atmosphere isn't that of a steak house. The staff appearance and menu knowledge is that of a waffle house but the food was that of a country diner that has cooks that know what they are doing and they know how to cook. The cooks and the food they produce should be the star of the show. Worth a visit? You bet."
"We are from out of town and this was the best food! We ordered appetizers thinking they would be like every other restaurant small and not enough but it was the opposite the portions were huge. The burgers and chicken were awesome. Top top it off the server we had was sweet, laughted at stupid dad jokes and was the most attentive waitress we have ever had! 10 stars"
"Driving by and saw the Rusty spur, had to try it. Good burger, fries. Daughter got a chicken sandwich that was good also. Service was a touch slow, but servers were kind. I would go back for sure."
