"I rented an aerator yesterday. I was reluctant and honestly intimidated by the thing seeing as I’m not a very large or strong lady! The service guy was super helpful and walked me through it, even over the phone when I was having trouble setting it up. After the learning curve, it went by fast! "Update: 2/15/2024 - At Daphne Paint Center PRICE GOUGING IS COMPANY POLICY apparently. We approached the company representative -- his name is 'Clint' -- and over a couple of days asked him to reconsider the prices, give at least a small discount, and so on. He refused and told our painter that “Those prices stand!” Apparently price gouging is the company's policy. You can expect to pay significantly more for Benjamin Moore paint at this store than anywhere else in the area. DO NOT BUY BENJAMIN MOORE PAINT from this company unless you want to pay retail and above for the same paint available elsewhere locally for significantly less. Working with an established paint contractor in the area, my wife and I wanted to use Benjamin Moore paint products in our home. This company was closest to our home. We were told that we would receive our contractor's discount. When I picked up our first order of paint, I reviewed the invoice when I returned home. The prices looked like retail prices, and after a quick check, they were retail prices. When I called another Benjamin Moore store nearby and asked what my list of paint would cost -- just off the street as a walk-in without any discounts, I discovered that I had overpaid by 38%. I was charged $681.87 before taxes, and I could have purchased the same list for $425.31 down the street without any discounts. With my contractor's discount, the total would have been even less. When confronted, the company refused to make it right. I understand there may be differences in volume discounts from the manufacturer that affects what a company can afford to sell to its customers, but 38%? In addition to being way over priced, there's also a lack of honesty. I was assured that I would receive a discount, but none was given. Just the sheet price retail. The gentleman involved who manages the paint store, "Clint" previously told me that I would receive a discount. Not only did he not give me a discount (a deception), but he price gouged in comparison to the local market. This review is for the Daphne Paint Center related to the Daphne Rental Center and located inside."

"Edit: I appreciate the fact that the owner called and apologized for the rudeness of his employees. As a small business owner, I understand that you can’t control everything your employees do or say. I can’t say whether or not I would recommend this company since we won’t be allowed to rent from them due to the nature of our business. However, the owner seems like the type of person who would quickly take care of any issues that might arise. I want to know why your employees were extremely rude and disrespectful when a representative of my company came in to inquire about renting some equipment. We live in Loxley and work all over Baldwin County. I now understand that you decided not to rent to “tree people”, however we were unaware of that when we came into your place of business. Instead of the professionalism that is expected, we were met with disrespect and slight hostility. I believe our business could have been an asset to your company in the fact that we could have used your services on a consistent basis and since we actually are professionals, you would have received your equipment back in excellent condition. Our goal for our company is 100% customer satisfaction. Maybe you should contemplate what your goals should be as a company because right now customer satisfaction is not one."
