"Driving down highway 280 and there was a huge pot hole that damaged my tires. My car is fairly new so of course I was upset and had to have it put in shop immediately. I contacted Jowanda Diles and not only did she send documents for me to complete to get reimbursed but she immediately rode to the scene, located the huge pot holes and had repaired right then. Then she called me back to update me that the road had been repaired. Thank you for your service."
"They are the most rudest people I have ever seen I went to renew my non Driver's I'd last month in August on the 14th of August everything I have information wise is correct and the lady told me it would take at least 3 week's for my I'd to come in the mail it's September 9/22/2020 and I still haven't seen it I'm highly upset and I need my I'd to handle my business and how can I if I don't have it . I have called and everything and they still saying 3 week's it's almost October and I will go to Montgomery AL if I have to if I don't see it in the next few days"
"They have painted line and painted the side of the New 59/20 bridge but some of the connections are not done all the way down on the side"
"Its a great place to work. Good people, just some not so bright exterior people to deal with. If its state right of way, then we can be there. If its not state employees doing it then its not in our control. Too many people don't understand this and want to fuss at you when your simply trying to do your job on a project."
"I called the Bessemer office this morning to let them know the guys that are working on our road, has been pulling their back hoe in my yard. I had ask the guy fueling the to let them know they were getting very close to a bush I have been pruning all year. Well he finally got it. So I called the office to let them know, and the little lady I spoke with was quite short with me. Seems I must have bothered her. Regardless I know that part of my yard needs some work, but there are plants and the water line there that I don't want trampled on. I am 60 years old and work slot, and with all the rain I just haven't been able to cut that yet. So in closing I wish they would talk to the home owner before they park their equipment in your yard."
