"Customer Service Ghost Town: Not a Soul in Sight The title perfectly captures how we felt about Capital Brick Company’s lack of responsiveness. We were disheartened because they were our original supplier used when we built our home, a partnership we had once valued and trusted. We reached out to our original salesperson, Mr. Bart, to purchase the same bricks for our home addition, but to no avail. After weeks of our persistent calls and messages remaining unanswered, and the promised callbacks and quotes failed to materialize, we found ourselves forced to independently source the bricks in Birmingham. As business owners ourselves, we understand the importance of good customer service. We also understand that finding quality employees are difficult to find in these challenging times we are in. However, we also know that hiring competent and dedicated staff is crucial, as they are the cornerstone of delivering exceptional customer service that builds trust and fosters long-term customer loyalty. The company's inadequate customer service unfortunately led to the loss of a long-standing customer and the writing of this review. We typically refrain from writing negative reviews, but in this instance, the glaring unprofessionalism compelled us to share our experience. The silver lining in this situation was discovering an outstanding supplier, Alabama Brick, that demonstrated exceptional customer service. They provided us with a same-day quote and offered delivery services, demonstrating an efficiency and customer focus that was both refreshing and commendable. While we did incur a delivery cost to source from Birmingham, the expense was justified by the superior service we received. The value of their attentive and prompt customer support far outweighed the additional cost, reaffirming our belief that investing in quality service is always worth the expenditure. Ultimately, we would suggest to Capital Brick that to retain good customers and foster positive relationships, a reevaluation of your customer service strategy might be beneficial. Prioritizing responsiveness and reliability in your communications, and ensuring that promises made to customers are fulfilled in a timely manner, can significantly enhance customer satisfaction. Update: After several weeks have passed, Mr. Bart, contacted us January 22, 2024, to inform us that their supplier no longer sells that brick to them."

"I'm a homeowner of a 1973 abode that we love. A very seasoned tree fell on our home and demolished our brick terrace. It was my favorite part of the house so it meant a lot to try and salvage as much brick as we could. Of course, my 1973 brick is no longer made and I had to match a very pink weathered brick. I thought it would be easy to show up at Capital with lots of choices. Nope! There's a reason why vintage is vintage. Steve was so understanding, worked with me and matched me up with the best choice! I really want to express how appreciative I was because these guys work with big time contractors!
