Amazing Nails,

"Randomly, I went to visit Amazing.Nails for a pedicure. I was paired with an older lady named Ivy who did an amazing job! She was patient and the pedicure was top tier. Contrary to the pleasant visit with Ivy, the middle gentleman, Andy who worked there was very rude. I witnessed him sneezing all over the place. The patron whose nails he was doing, asked him to ‘catch his germs’ and not spread them everywhere. He laughed very loudly and said ‘COVID’ and seemed to had become very bothered because of his patrons request. Mind you, he was sneezing toward me. At the end of my service, I stood at the desk to waiting to be checked out. As Andy approached the desk, I stepped back and he asked why I stepped back and I told him because he had been sneezing wildly all over the place and I didn’t want to risk getting sick. In the rudest way, Andy replied “we’ll cover your mouth then!” I suggested that he wear a mask in consideration of the customers. Also, I reminded him that I was paying for a service and he should show more respect for his customers. He left me at the counter yelling “tap your credit card, TAP IT”. The transaction was already completed but he didn’t know because he left me standing at the desk. Jenifer and Ivy came forward making several apologies and ask me to come back to see Ivy. In spite of the amazing service that I received with Ivy, I don’t think that I will return to this shop. I can’t imagine working hard for my money to obtain these services only to go sit in a business and run the risk of getting sick and be treated so rudely. Andy’s attitude and behavior is a detriment to their business. It’s not okay to treat people that way."

"My daughter and I went in for nail services and a polish change. I requested regular polish and Jennifer repeatedly tried to push me to get gel polish on my toes which is not my personal preference. She had my daughter text me and try to tell me it would be a longer wait for my service (45 minutes to an hour) and if I mess them up I would have to pay more. She repeatedly spoke to the employee doing my nails and the employee continually asked me about gel while readying my toes for polish. Her technique was poor and I could see my toe nails through the polish so I requested another coat which put Jennifer in a tizzy. I had my daughter explain why and instead of her checking behind the employee as a manager should she mentioned again about charging extra if I messed them up and continued to speak loudly in her native language to the lady servicing me. Andy did my nails and was extremely rude. His only commentary to me was in moving my hand a certain way to accommodate him and it was unnecessary because I was holding my hands properly. He greeted customers coming in and had conversation with them in a friendly tone but it seemed that I was treated poorly since I was not bullied into gel polish on my toes by them. I will never return to this establishment. Customer service goes a long way and the audacity to not honor the wishes of the customer and threaten additional charges is very poor service and management. Jennifer tried to speak with me as I was paying in a friendly manner but too much too late. Your rudeness for the majority of the appointment supersedes your kindness in wanting a tip for poor service."

"I have used several different nail salons since moving here from Gadsden. I haven’t been satisfied until I came here. This salon is clean, organized, friendly, and they have a ton of colors to choose from. They definitely gained my business and would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a wonderful nail salon. 10/10 hands down!"
