"The folks at LL Flooring in Tuscaloosa provide great service and quality products. I shopped online and then went to the Tuscaloosa store so I could see everything in person. I decided to install hardwood in four large bedrooms, five walk-in closets and a long hallway. This was a big spend for something that was virtually permanent and I was hesitant to commit. Kelvin showed me the flooring, provided me with free samples and then walked me through the entire process from delivery through installation. He then set me up with a free in-home measurement to start the process. LL Flooring was my 1st stop and I went to check out other suppliers. One local supplier was ridiculously expensive and refused to talk material pricing "because it changed EVERY DAY!". One supplier was a national home improvement store that showed great pricing online. When I went in to see the material in person, the salesman said they didn't know anything about that online price. However, they spitballed the job costs and convinced me to pay for an in-home measurement. Almost everything they told me was wrong. I took the online information back to LL Flooring and they price matched the online price for the materials, thus reducing the total job cost by thousands. Do yourself a favor and give LL Flooring a shot. Whatever quote you may receive from another supplier, if LL Flooring has a similar product, they will try to price match. My job materials were delivered as promised. The quality of the materials was excellent! The installation started on time and finished ahead of schedule. The installation work was top notch and there was actually extra material because there were almost no flaws in the wood, so didn't need the "overage." I returned the unopened materials to recoup a surprise savings. All in all, working with LL FLooring was a great experience and I'm pleased with the results. "Finishing up our flooring and can’t say how satisfied we are with the look. It’s a laminate called Prospect Park Chevron by Dream Home. It’s not the most DIY friendly pattern but easy enough once you get used to lining everything up and staggering the patterns. Still have another bedroom to finish and we are wishing we had found this flooring sooner because we would have done it throughout the entire house. LL in Tuscaloosa was also a very pleasant experience with knowledgeable friendly staff."

"I've spent over $14k in flooring recently with LL Flooring. They did a good job on installing, however, they lost my house key twice (!). After they finished, I had a major plumbing repair, that resulted in having to take up a 3 ft x 12 ft section of the new flooring. I hired someone to take it up, and LL was to come back and re-install it. I was told it would be done this past week, and went ahead and scheduled someone to help me clean and move furniture in yesterday (Saturday). After being jerked around on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, I could not get an answer on when someone would be out to do the work. If they'd sent a team, it would have taken them less than an hour. There were also some areas they'd missed on the shoe molding, to be done. Meanwhile, I'd already paid them up front for this work. I finally had to give up at 4:30 on Friday afternoon, and schedule my tile guy, who also does flooring, to come and do it on Saturday morning. LL did refund my money, but it does not take care of what they put me through. Their head installation guy, who schedules and coordinates everything, WOULD NOT even give me the courtesy of a phone call!! I kept having to call the store, and then they would call him, and after they talked to him (sporadically), they would call me back. With NO answers. I TRULY feel that they have taken advantage of me because I'm a woman!! I KNOW they would not have put a man through this!!!"

"I am not usually one to do reviews, but people need to see this. My husband and I had a water leak that ruined our living room carpet. Since we already had planned to replace it, we fixed the leak and I took the day to find someone to put new flooring in. I went Nu Flooring, Crimson Carpet, etc. And was met with the same attitude. One worker even had his feet up on a desk playing on a phone and pointed to the show room when I asked about their services. I had been told not to go to LL Flooring because they were over priced, but after what I experienced I was willing to see what they said. I am so SO glad I did! Victor greeted me with a smile when I walked in the door. Explained my situation, he LISTENED and said well let's see if we can get this fixed for you. He provided samples, estimate, advise all in about 20 minutes time. And in about 3 weeks we had new floor. We could not be happier with the services. I am a Realtor, I see renos, Buyers and Salers all talking about changing the floors in homes. From what I experienced first hand I know where I will be suggesting they go. And the "they are so expensive" advice we received. Yea well it actually ended up being $500+ less than we were quoted from other business. Go see Victor!"
