"They have an excellent rotating selection of beer, local, national, and international. 64 beers are on tap. Full bar, and non alcoholic beer available. Nice game room available to rent, and basic food like thin crust pizza, salads, and wraps are available. We come because of the beer selection and service."

"I have always loved beer hog… But just left after being there for 15 minutes and no one came to take my order… Love their pizza, but if I can't get a beer in 15 minutes, certainly was not gonna order a pizza tonight… None of the regular staff was there that I am a custom, too… Maybe they've had turnover… I would stay away on Sunday evenings"

"Great tap selection. My tastes stray toward stouts, aged and malted beers and the Hog usually provides a large enough sampling for one or two flights of heaven with no repeats. Full range of rotating taps. A favorite spot for beer. Try the Buffalo chicken pizza w/blue cheese! Most recent visit (11/13/23), several of the taps were flat. The Chimay was also "off" in taste and texture."

"Great beer, the thin crest pizza was fantastic, I particularly liked the whole hog pizza. Love the samples of different beers that were brought around. The girl singing was awesome. I'd definitely recommend this place and would return it if ever in Birmingham again"

"Great venue. Light and bright (in the daytime). Plenty of seating. The game room is a fun addition. Outdoor seating looked great, but we were there on a chilly day, so we didn’t try it. The beer selection is phenomenal! If you can’t find something you like, then you are just plain wacky. Didn’t try the food this go-round, but it looked good. Will give it a go the next time."
