"We have been here 7 times. Have never had a bad experience. The food is delicious, service great and the atmosphere is amazing. We have had almost everything on menu. All the bisque and gumbo are amazing. The oysters are wonderful and not tiny like a lot of places. The fish is fresh and cooked perfectly. I don’t know who owns it but they are all top notch."

"Overall a good experience here. Even though our group of 16 could not be seated right away the staff were kind and gave lots of smiles. I don’t love fish but i went anyway and the group was overall pleased with the food. I ordered a steak burger which was a little over cooked and dry but the meat had a lot of flavor. It took a long time to get our food and the wine order took over 20 minutes to get. Our waiters seemed struggle even doing their best but alas it’s an nice place and I expected good table service."

"Great quality food and drinks. Great service provided by staff. Thanks Rick! Lovely atmosphere. Great New Orleans esthetic. Diverse customers. Great grown folks late evening vibes. Being a highly involved Google critic I couldn't find anything but positives about this place. Must try."

"We ordered boudin balls as a starter and they arrived to the table lukewarm. The ‘grilled’ snapper I ordered was actually more like blackened because it was covered in heavy seasoning and so tough that I could barely cut it with a steak knife. A good piece of fish does not need to be smothered in spices- it just need a squeeze of lemon and that’s all. The asparagus on my plate was sickly looking and the tops had fallen off prior to cooking which is a sign that it was not very fresh to begin with. My grandkids ordered grilled cheese, and get this- it was a hamburger bun flipped inside out with a piece of cheese in the center- I found that to be appalling. They don’t even have a decent loaf of bread back in that kitchen, really? I actually liked the dessert, however. The bananas foster cheesecake far exceeded the actual meal. If only the rest of the meal had been half as good as that…."

"We went for our anniversary dinner and were a little disappointed. I had the shrimp and grits, which were one of their specialties and I wasn't impressed. It was very soupy and not as spicy as I had hoped. There were bits of bacon fat and the shrimp was very plain. It would have been better if the shrimp had some Cajun flavor or something like it. We did have the Bananas Foster Cake and it was very good."
