"This location is very clean and well put together. They have an amazing selection of supplies, but as a black woman, I felt very disrespected by the owners / staff. I live just down the street so I came to this location for convenience instead of driving all the way across town. The owner followed me up and down the aisle, immediately after I walked in. After about a minute or two I noticed a younger family member / staff walking around peeping over the shelves at myself and other shoppers ( black of course). I really needed the hair supplies, so I continued on own about my business, but I couldn't get over the disrespect I felt. I called a friend who pointed me in the direction of a Black owned / Black friendly location on Broad Street. I literally just walked out and I'm heading that way now. I will post their address as soon as I have it. I am tired of spending my money with companies who profit off of black dollars but treat us as though that is not the case. I work hard for my money and I have never stolen a dime. I will not be coming back to this location."

"I brought a whole roll of hair Three day ago didn’t realize hair was different colors until my daughter was getting her hair done. I had the receipt and they would not exchange it because all sudden they do sell it ……………… This has been unprofessional experience Poor Customer service.I’ve been going to that store for years I’ll Not be Returning..My hair was not Open….What’s the point of having a Receipt!!!"

"First review Ive ever left. I wish 0 stars was an option. I will drive a longer distance to another beauty supply before I spend my money here. I wanted to exchange the exact same product i bought at their moffet rd location (due to smell) I had just bought the product last one on shelf like 30m prior and decided to smell it omw home and it didn't seem right based on all the good ingredients in my opinion.However i never bought the product before so i wasnt sure if normal or not. I stopped by this location since it was on my way home and I did a smell check in the store on the same product and I was right. So i go to my car to bring in same product from other store to do an exchange so i can do ONE transaction since i bought the last product on the shelf at their moffet location... IMMEDIATE attitude from the man at the register who barely even listened to what i was saying and told me to go back to where I came from ...like a completely unnecessary attitude. I didnt approach him in a way to deserve his attitude. So I called the moffet rd location who said I could return it to their location and we just took care of the rest from there. However I WOULD have bought the product from this store because I wanted it and would've just went back to moffet for the return. But I'm not spending my money with someone /a store who has no regard to what im saying and an attitude for NO REASON. I do need the product but I surely won't buy it with someone like this. I rather go without before I buy from here. My dollar will go elsewhere. PLUS they don't even greet you upon entering. Would not recommend."
