"I went into the office on the 14th of April to finalize my taxes my tax preparer Charles was not there that day I had another person finish it up we signed it up owed $225 got everything taken care of supposedly sign the papers she was going to file everything and only to find out just two days ago on the 20th of May that our taxes have still not been completed nor filed. I sent our tax man Charles an email asking him to check on it he said he was no longer in the office for the rest of the year but would get back to me. Today I see a miscellaneous charge of $225 which is what I owe the state coming out of my bank and an email coming back from h&r block saying thank you your taxes have been prepared. Now I get survey asking if my experience? Not good at all obviously third strike for H&R for me. Unless you wanna pay all costs and fees and get a better agent I'm.pretty much done with 13 plus years of service with your company Mark Wieger"

"I submitted all my tax documents with the Indian Ridge office on 3/31/2022. Since I did not hear for them for 10 days I called them last week to inquire. Their front desk looked up my name and said that someone is working on it and give you a call end of week, Friday. Did not receive any call. Today tax day, I called them several tines and left VM with no response. So I went to their office. I was appalled to find that she found my documents in a cabinet and it was left their since the day I submitted. not just that, the person who attended me said that you can get the extension on your own as it takes 15 mts and she had two more appointments waiting. although it was not her fault that it was left in the storage cabinet unattended for 18 days. I I believe her name is Miss Delphyne Alexander because that’s the card she gave me and wrote the name and phone number of the district manager Alrhough she did give me the name of their district area manager Mr. Todd Boldry. But that was just a regular branch number where you to leave voice message. I Feel that they are extremely unresponsible as they left all my tax documents in the storage cabinet and when I inquired they gave me false reassurances. On the last day of tax return I am left on my own to handle the mess they left me with to sort out I will never trust them for my tax returns ever. If there was an option of giving zero star I would have given that."

"When they have questions, they'll contact you, but when you have questions good luck getting a call back. I gave all of my paperwork to them over a month ago, but they simply never responded to messages asking about the status on our taxes. I finally had to go into their office the minute they opened on the morning taxes were due to wait until my tax person was scheduled. She never arrived, and their online coordinator had to help me. I asked him to have her contact me today to see where my state taxes stand, left another message on the automated message service, and still have no word back. If you're considering using these guys, I'd recommend going somewhere else."

"I am not a tax person so having someone do them that I know will get them right is the reason I choose H&R Block. They are close so very convenient. Downside is the cost of this service. Really should cost that much. I was there 30 minutes and $260+. Also, I was told this cost could be deducted from my refund only to get home and received a call that could not be done. I tried to pay over the phone but the credit card system wouldn't take my card. So, another trip into the office only to have 1 person in the office with a client, myself and 2 other parties waiting for help. Why was only 1 person in the office?"
