"This place has tons of stuff to look through"
"Superb items on display on this trip. Great prices to had especially if you take the time to peruse. Found a gossip bench for $45! Love the lower section with all the amazing MCM furniture, clothing, and kitsch. Highly recommend"
"One of my favorite antique malls. I love coming here again and again. I have probably been coming for 10 years now, maybe. I have found furniture, jewelery, decor, and gifts here. They have a such variety of things, all fairly priced. The front staff are always friendly, and in communication with the booth owners if you need to ask any questions or want to discuss pricing."
"The apotheosis of an "antique store." Maybe the best antique store I've ever seen, at least in Tuscaloosa. Unassuming on the outside, seemingly bigger on the inside, tons of variety, and surprises around every corner. Definitely my kind of antique store—one with items that actually feel like antiques rather than items people just want to get rid of for a few bucks. I've typically only visited antique stores via word of mouth, but I've never heard anyone say anything about this one, which surprises me. Definitely visit this place! EDIT: I've also seen a lot of reviews saying that things here are overpriced. However, I was familiar with many of the items I came across, and fortunately for them/unfortunately for us, it's more so that the people actually know what they have and are selling at the current market price. Example: Jadeite Fire King mugs can indeed go for upwards of $35 a piece. They just know the game!"
"I must start by admitting that even though I am a big, burly man that lifts weights and kills bugs for my girlfriend, I LOVE to go antiqueing! Not a word? Sue me. I usually go to a place and say, "Great stuff, but a little pricey.", as my lottery numbers haven't quite come in. Who am I kidding, I haven't matched ONE damn number yet! It's like they are using numbers from a different chart or something! Anyway, I took a detour on my way to Tennessee from New Orleans today, mainly to stretch my legs and wake up a little, and BANG! I found my new favorite antique store! Now, don't get me wrong, it is a place with multiple booths representing multiple vendors and some of them think the word "vintage" means to tack on thirty percent, but for the most part, VERY reasonable. A lot of booths had percent off signs (mostly 20%, but one was 50% and the stuff was not just leftover trash he or she couldn't unload, either!). There was a downstairs section where I found a GREAT old trunk in EXCELLENT shape for one C-note (that's $100 for all you millenials out there). Now, maybe you think that is pricey (even though it is NOT ), but there were trunks in there not in as great shape and not as big for $125-250. I didn't buy the hand painted trunk on sale for $60, down from $125, though, so see if it's still there! The stuff that is overpriced (to me, mind you, not the world) just made it more fun to look through everything to find that special treasure for yourself or a gift for the antique lover in your family. Okay, I don't really lift weights and I am single, but everything else in this review is true and I stand by it! And I'll usually shoo a bug out the door unless he is exceptionally hairy and/or brandishing a weapon. Stay classy, San Diego."
