"A lovely dog park! Our dog had so much fun running around without a leash (and because he’s a smaller guy, we felt safer in the small dog arena). On the other hand, though, there was a really rude lady by the guard house — I hope she was just having a bad day because yelling at people and pointing aggressively doesn’t seem productive to me. The fountain by the dog parks was also broken when we tried it out. It was a nice visit for our dog in Novi and we hope that some of these issues get figured out for others to really enjoy this dog park to its full potential."

"Canine loves it there ! Would be nice if there was something to challenge the pets. Maybe DPW has some Xtra cement tubes ( their stock ) that they keep around. Eliminate the need to store ( think boneyard ? ) something to challenge the dogs physically. Have also seen area veterinarian's "sponsore" the park with a little bit of advertising along the fencing . Could help with maintenance costs $$$ ."

"We love this dog park and it's my dog's favorite place. It's got two very large fenced in areas which alternate bring open and a smaller area for small dogs up front. There's a few gazebos for shade and trash bins and bags posted around the perimeter for cleaning up after your pet. Lastly, it's nearly all grass which is mowed regularly and free (for the most part) of holes and sharp rocks. Really one of the best dog parks we've been to. 5$ admission or a reasonable priced season pass is well worth it!"

"My two beagles love the Lyon Oaks Dog Park! Our 17 month old beagle has endless energy and he actually is tired after we leave. They have so much fun and have been making some new fur-friends. We will definitely be visiting again in the future during the next few months while the weather is nice."
