Reviews
"The food was terrible. The meat on our 2 salads and potato was a lot of fat and I thought this place was first class but not anymore. The lettuce was terrible too."
"So in full transparency we didn’t eat here! We didn’t eat here because they brought out plain bread with bbq sauce with a side of gnats. Yes Gnats on the bread, gnats in the sauce. That’s really kinda gross, obviously there is a sanitation issue. I was instantly not hungry."
"From my personal experience here on a Saturday afternoon it was great. Service was fast and attentive (checked on us frequently), food came out fast and piping hot not to mention it tasted great. There are mixed reviews about the place but from my experience I would recommend eating here."
"Stopped here on a Sunday afternoon. The servers were nice and welcoming. We got everything to go since we had a few hours of driving left, and everything we asked for was in the bag. Unfortunately, our experience was just like a lot of other reviews. We got the Tips & Chips and the BBQ Baker with rib tips. The bbq was nothing extraordinary, not a lot of smoke flavor, but it was ok. I liked their twangy bbq sauce, but the white sauce on the potato was not so great. More like a weird mayo sauce. The chips were OK but not homemade chips like the restaurantboasts about. More like fried Lays. Overall, it was filling, but I wouldn't go out of our way again to stop here."
"My first visit here was a tad disappointing. My server was friendly and helpful. Kind of a quiet evening and it was a little chilly inside. Smelled great! My mouth was watering for the ribs I’ve heard so much about. Guess what? They were out of ribs. So I had the Legendary BBQ sandwich, chopped pork, Doc style. Tried to order house chips, all out. The sandwich was definitely the best pork sandwich I’ve ever had. Fries were ok as well as the beans. The bread and BBQ sauce were a nice treat while I waited for my meal. I nibbled on the bread after dipping it in the sauce, trying to control myself in the same manner as chips n salsa at a Mexican restaurant. I failed. Followed up the meal with some banana pudding. REAL banana pudding. Lots of banana, not just pudding with a few bananas and wafers on top. Really good banana pudding folks! My disappointment was once again realized as I was finishing up my pudding and saw a pile of ribs being escorted back to the kitchen from the smoker. If I only had room left, I would have tried some."
