"I ordered a family feast with Mac and cheese and green beans. I patiently waited exactly 48 minutes in the drive thru to receive fish cooked in black oil, Mac in cheese with maybe 3 scoops in it and burned cheese on the side of the container. This is extremely bad service. I was patient when the manager said they was out of okra, hush puppies, tartar sauce and that they was cooking out of 1 pot. I asked him if the order was correct and he assured me it was, only for ke to arrive home to a mess. This is awful and I would never provide this type service to anyone. Beyond dissatisfied."

"This is what our Captain D’s Family Feast dinner looked like after getting home last night. We ordered from the Trussville location. The slaw was sour and our entire order was cold. I’m still trying to understand why we waited 20 minutes for this. We ended up throwing it all the trash."

"Absolutely ridiculous and disappointing order of funnel cake sticks. Hardly ANY powdered sugar on them at all!!!! The best part!!! The kids on the back preparing the food need to be more focused on their jobs than communicating and playing on their phones with their friends. Very disappointing and unprofessional"

"The absolute best trip we've had to Captain D's in Trussville. Took our order soon as we walked in the door. Got our drinks and food order was ready before we got seated. Fish, shrimp, and fries were hot! Everything was very good. All people working were friendly and pleasant. Enjoyed our visit there."

"The food we purchased around 6 pm was burned or fried too hard to even eat. The only thing we were able to eat was the fries, and they were cold! This was unacceptable, and when we tried to call the location, no one answered call for 45 minutes."
