"I've been in 3 times. The first I just asked about the price. They were a little steep, but thats okay; locally owned; supply chain; inflation; i understand. The second time I went in with my friend. There was a habeneros employee standing in the door talking to the girl behind the counter. He extended the conversation for about 40 seconds before finally leaving. He clearly spends a lot of time there as he was telling her hed see her again tomorrow or even later that afternoon. After speaking to the girl I decided to get a smoothie thinking it'd be in one of the big cups as she said, "our drinks come in these (holding massive cup)"; 7 dollars being a good deal for that much. She apparently meant their TEA came in those cups as when she started making it she grabbed a small cup. Whatever, misunderstandings happen. As she was making it I noticed she grabbed a preprepared cup of some crushed Graham crackers. I said, "Hold on, before you put that in can you tell me what it is?" She ignored me, and while dumping it in said, "Oh it's just something that naturally goes in." I avoid eating gluten as much as I can, and admittedly I should have asked before ordering. But she would have saved both of us some time if she'd just listened to me; instead, with a line forming, she had to remake it, somewhat frazzled. The smoothie was not that great. Not terrible. But it was overly sweet and watching her dump a bunch of powders into a blender with some water and ice; 0 real fruit or tangible ingredients; I felt a little ripped off. Cut to this week. I've been trying to find a place to get some high protein drinks. It occurred me I didn't know how much protein was in their smoothies and I also figured their prices and flavors had likely changed since I last went in. I decided to stop in and check since it had been several months since I was last there. The same girl and, interestingly, the same employee from habaneros were both there. They were in deep conversation. She stopped briefly to ask if I was ready to order, I took the opportunity to ask about the protein. She answered my question and then went back to her conversation when I said I wasn't ordering. They talked for several minutes, totally ignoring me. I do not personally know either of them, and he might be much younger than he looks, he might just be a friendly person, but as an objective observer with 0 context, this relationship appears very creepy and weird. He finally left and she turned her attention to me. I asked about the prices and she gave me number which indicated a price increase of about a dollar and a half. I was slightly shocked and asked, "have you guys had to raise your prices?" Not sure why I asked, I already knew. Everyone's had to increase prices; I don't blame the store. However, the girl decided to say, "No, we just took tax out of our prices." I stood there, kinda astonished that she would outright lie to me. 1. Taking tax out from your listed price would make them cheaper. 2. Why lie? I waited for her to elaborate; I was admittedly much angrier about her lying than I should have been and I'm sure it showed. She began waffling out some story about taxes and how after tax the prices are even higher and that went on for bit before she finally said, "we had to raise our prices due to shipping increasing." I thanked her and left. I assume the lie was an absent minded mistake; I struggle to believe she just maliciously takes joy in gaslighting costumers. I've tried to be as honest and forgiving in this review as I can. My recollection is certainly not verbatim and I'm sure the girl has a totally different memory of what occurred. The store front is very nice. The owners are very very nice. I'm always happy to see a small business thrive and I sincerely hope it does. I will not personally be returning. The girl needs more training and I wish the product was better. Everyone loves this store; I think I've just seen the worst of it. Edit: typos and precision."

"This place has the best nutritional teas and the best part are they are actually good and don't taste healthy at all. The customer service was excellent I'm sticking to this place from now on."
"This is a Herbalife distributor with a store front. Herbalife is not healthy! Do not consume these products."
"I was driving through Birmingham and was in need of a loaded tea. So glad Google brought me to Local Nutrition!!! It was amazing. The owners were great and recommended my now favorite tea. Definitely stop by if you live nearby or are in the area. Can’t wait to come back!"
