"The smoked chicken meal was stellar! The meat was moist and tender. The red and white sauce were complementary and delicious! The cheese grits were smooth and tasty. I was quite pleased and impressed!"

"So, I was waiting for a family member to have surgery at UAB Highlands and decided to take the short walk down to Saw's BBQ. (2 blocks away) Just walking up, it had a very established vibe, and the inside of the restaurant felt the same. Upon entering, I was greeted and shown a menu that I posted. I always feel like a great BBQ restaurant can be judged by its Brisket, so I decided to order the Brisket sandwich with a side of fries and a tea. The cost was $21. The sandwich comes with grilled onions, pickles, and a horseradish sauce, and the lady who brought it recommended their BBQ sauce as well. Let just say that I made an excellent choice and will be back to order something else on the menu. But then again, I may just have to order that sandwich again."
