"A B'ham classic with exceptional dogs, every time. The hot beef is delectable. As is the super cheese, all the way. Whenever I'm in town, I make a trip or two to Sam's. The new location has plenty of space and good lighting. Food served quick."

"This is one of my favorite spots specifically for breakfast for me. Everything I get always taste great and my personal fav is a bacon egg and cheese with a little bit mayo on it. A true staple of the community and just an old reliable option for delicious food."

"Yeah idk how Sam's Super Samwiches made it on the list of top 5 best hotdog spots in Birmingham. I just tried it for lunch and I ordered a chili dog and a burger. Let's start with the chili dog. First look it looked as if someone just piled wet dog food on top. Like an insanely amount of chili was on this thing. Not to mention it was bland so I basically took a bite into pure mush. The burger it looked good but ended up being extremely bland and the only thing I tasted was the sauce they put on it. I just couldn't finish this. 2/5 from me. Go check this place out. I'll be sticking with Paul's Hotdogs, Gus's Hotdogs, and Tony's Hotdogs from now on. Take Sam's off that top 5 list and put Paul's in that spot."

"Never tried a breakfast sandwich with a hamburger bun, but I definitely enjoyed it. Had the egg and cheese with no mayo. I'd rather go here than ANY fast food or alot of dine in fast breakfast spots. The decor is history of Sam and so on, worth checking out. Great location and super clean. The staff always warms my heart."
