MELT

"The food was quite nice. But for just under $30 (includes tip) I should be quite full. 1 beer, 1 sandwich and some fries...thats a big price tag for a very small amount of food. I should be adjusting my belt after eating $30 worth of food at a sandwich shop. That didn't happen at Melt."

"Went for lunch Tuesday with family, and they were packed. It was the first time at their new location did not disappoint! Great place to bring the kids. Our server Jade was so sweet, and even though she was super busy, she was very attentive. The fried pickles are the best we have ever had.  Keep it up, Melt!"

"So let's start basing the review off the other location in Hoover, the one in mtn brook , each item is about 1 dollar more than hoover and they have a bar at mtn brook but unfortunately it's also table service at mtn brook, so higher priced items and now have to tip. We were taken to a table without menus, the hostess had to go find menus, she brought over some paper menus that have been wrinkled and had stains aka germs all over it. If your going to use paper menus, at least laminate them so they can be cleaned. Our table had no napkins or utensils in the metal lunch box. The drink station is the type you would see in a self serve setup, the bartender had to walk across the restaurant to get soft drinks for his guest as there was apparently no soft drinks at the bar. When we ordered, we were told the Cuban rolls were not available, yet there is a Publix greenwise right across the street...the owner was preparing food, she didn't wear any gloves, would text on her phone then serve food, she prepared the soup, but had no care to wipe off soup dripage from the cups, our server made a soup for someone and at least cared enough to wipe the cup before delivery, the owner had a soft drink with no lid and would even eat fries while serving....why not wear gloves when preparing ready to eat foods? She even took her straw wrapper and tossed it between the food prep and counter instead of finding a trash can, she also sent food to a party of 12 and left one kids item out and it wasn't served until an adult commented.... The food for us arrived missing sauce , we had to go find our server to get it corrected... The food was ok, nothing special, I will say one thing positive....the older guy cleaning the tables was very productive and constantly busting his tail, we made sure to let him know he was doing a wonderful job."

"Such a cute spot with so much charm!! Would recommend this spot for families, first dates or just a cute little brunch spot! They have drink specials, food is amazing! Our server was great and so helpful! Would def be back!’"

"Truly enjoyed the overall experience of MELT! The service from the greeter to the waitress to the table staff was awesome. We had Flatbread as an appetizer, and it was delish! I actually would have been satisfied with just this as the meal. But then I would have missed out on that sandwich! Would definitely recommend"
