"I live in Atlanta, but visiting my dad in Montgomery. My tire picked up a bolt and losing pressure fast. I had to leave town quickly, so my dad took me to his go-to, Don Duncan’s Auto. To my surprise, I received the red carpet treatment! Everyone had a smile and an enthusiastic greeting, 4 different employees shook my hand, and Mr. Duncan was very attentive to my “small” problem. Last but not least, they patched up my tire at NO CHARGE and got me out of town on time! In my experience, a lot of other shops would have taken advantage of that situation to upsell me, but they didn’t. I truly appreciate their integrity and hope to avail myself of their maintenance services next time I am visiting."

"I live downtown so I decided to get a mechanic close to me to change my oil. Easy enough right? I mean I’m paying you enough for this synthetic blend or whatever it is. Everyone was nice when I arrived and as they start working on my car they needed some part. What they neglected to tell me was they needed the part and it was coming from the other side of town. I say that for an extra hour, hour and a half before I had to get up and ask what was going on. At that point they offered me a ride. That was fine I guess. Annoying as all get out but fine. I get my car on the interstate and notice it’s not driving the same. The alignment seems off. Evidently they automatically rotate the tires every oil change. I come back the following Monday, get some long explanation but they “fix” it. The alignment is still off but I don’t want to go back. I’ll let someone else fix it. Sunday, I go out to my car and notice a cover hanging from the bottom. Some bolt or something has come out. I bring it in the following Monday. I probably didn’t talk as nicely as I had done before but at this point, come on. I get an attitude and an “explanation” and again I’m sitting here waiting for them to fix their mistake. Never again."
