"Tiny pocket park on the point flanked by busy Lakeshore Drive and a residential section of State Street - the plantings are maintained by the garden club, and it features a lovely fountain that was nicely restored after vandalism several years ago. The park is a pleasant rest stop for those who may be walking a longer distance to or from Silver Beach or the Howard trailhead/overlook on Lake Court a few blocks south. Dairy Korner is nearby for a treat. There is no playground, nor dedicated parking - just benches, grass lawn, fountain, and landscaping. Best for walkers, it's a recognizable, sweet little local landmark for a rest, or a meet-up spot to chat with friends."
