"The path itself is nicely paved, but you very much need to watch where you walk because there is a significant amount of goose droppings all summer. It would be helpful if there were more garbage cans and doggy bag stations- perhaps people would pick up after their dogs better. Lastly, the restrooms are despicable. They are rarely cleaned, and look and smell horrific."

"Striebel Pond is located between 20 and Franklin so it makes it such a central location to get to. It has the feel of you being far away because you will forget you are so close to downtown Michigan City where it's so busy. It's a great place to go to relax and clear your mind, go for a walk/run, ride your bike, take your dog for a walk, or just admire the beautiful views nature has to offer. The first time I went I saw a tree full of Swans! I didn't know Swans even did such a thing. It was quite a sight to see! It's such a great place to come when the ground is muddy because the trail is paved and you won't have to worry about muddy shoes or paws!"
