"Overall my stay was alright. Good breakfast with a nice server. Front desk staff was friendly. The room is clean and we'll maintained. My biggest issue is the size of the bathroom. There's barely room to turn around, no counter space, only one hook for towels. It's a room for four people with one towel hook?"

"Better than I originally expected! Staff was super friendly and helpful even the other tenants/hotel customers were helpful! The outside of the building looks dated but once you walk inside it definitely isn’t! The room was great! We had a small issue with hot water that was fixed immediately! They have a great indoor outdoor pool, a game room, a little indoor mini golf thing and a small play scape for kids. Their breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast but good none the less."

"Location is convenient and easy to find. Rooms are clean and large enough to comfortably accommodate my family of 2 adults and 6 children. The decor has been recently updated and the earth tone color scheme flows throughout the entire hotel. The indoor pool side rooms include their own individual patio space complete with patio furniture. The open floor plan complete is complete with sky lights and game room, providing a fun family atmosphere. I recommend the pool side rooms if available but I have also stayed in other rooms, while the walk to the pool is obviously further away the rooms are just as clean and comfortable and the fun family atmosphere spills down every hallway."

"We stayed here for about a week and it was OK. The staff was nice and responsive when we had issues. The pool was small, but usable. I really didn't like the heavy humid air in the stairwells that had a weird smell to it. I also couldn't shake the feeling that everything was unclean. However, the price was reasonable and it seemed like one of the better places to stay in La Porte."

"My Husband and I stayed here on Saturday, February 13, 2016 and had a horrible experience! After we got settled in, we decided to visit the Restaurant on-site, have a drink and relax. Dean, the bartender was awesome-Very personable! When we went back to our room, the noise from outside was unbelievable! Kids running up and down the halls, yelling, screaming and making all kinds of noise. We didn't really worry about it, assuming that the Hotel likely had a policy about "quiet time." Obviously not! People (presumably kids) ran by our room several times and banged on the door and window. We called the front desk twice, only to be told that they would send security which never happened. At 3:00 am, my Husband called the front desk because of all the noise below us and again were told that they would send security. Again, never happened. When we checked out this morning, I voiced our concerns to the front desk clerk who told me that they DID have someone patrolling the halls, but didn't come across anyone causing a disruption. I explained everything that had happened to us and she kept repeating the fact that they can't control the guests who stay there! Really? She handed me out bill and said "I took $20.00 off for you." Seriously? I gave it back to her and told her that we were worth far more than $20.00. What an insult. She literally huffed and began working on the bill again, not saying a word! Great customer service. When she handed it back, she said "This is the most we've ever done for anyone because of a noise disruption." (she took off another $40.00) As far as we're concerned, they should have totally comped our room. After zero sleep and feeling like WE were the guilty party, we left, vowing that this would be our last visit to this Best Western... You've lost our business for good."
