"I go towards dusk during summer, to avoid the vacation crowd. Dogs welcomed on leash. Most of the trails are cleared, easy and definitely beautiful."
"We launched the boat at the store lake boat launch and fished for about 6 hours. We caught a lot of yellow perch and a big blue gill. It's really nice first thing in the morning. Later on the whole parking lot will be full. There are a lot of activities. You can even have fun on kayaks."

"Let me start by saying I love this area. I grew up near lake Michigan so in a way this is a home away from home. We got swimming, boating, camping (if your really lucky) and of course a ton of trails, everything is well maintained. The best part is we've not had to pay a dime to use it. I definitely recommend familes come here and check it out. But then again I like the fact it's not crowded."
"Most dog friendly place to go and relax every time i go i meet tons of new ppl who are so friendly and welcoming to me and my 2 dogs i have a 100lb lab and a 120lb German shepherd and everyone is so nice to them when most ppl are afraid love this"
