"The service was horrible!!!! I couldn't use the wifi signal. The cashier told me to go outside if i wanted a signal. There were ppl at the cash register screaming for a cashier, she was putting items away. Totally ignored me when i told her that my milk might b leaking or something was leaking on the shelf. Shelves that said 50% had items on it that were not 50% off. And the manager was rude as hell!!!! I WILL NOT GO BACK TO THAT STORE AGAIN!!!!!!"

"Although I hate how small and confined this particular store is, I have to say it has always been well stocked and maintained, and the employees are always kind and helpful! Even when dealing with unpleasant customers for ridiculous reasons, the cashier kept her cool and handled the situation like a champ."

"This store is ok, but erratic in the merchandise that it has. You get used to buying something at it and then you go the next time and the shelf is empty I don't know why they have such a hard time keeping the shelves full. The one across from Arby's is the worst.they're basically isn't any customer service you have to call them out from the back room I don't know what they're doing back there but you have to call them to get them to come to a register also have to beg them to open another register if there are five or six or seven people in front of you and you're in a hurry and they all have full baskets so if you're going to that store Dollar general I would suggest going to one of the other two located in LaPorte"

"I frequent this store because I live in the area. It's quicker than major supermarkets in town but it's considerably less organized and depending on the day not very well kept. Most staff is great, there's been a few that have been less than friendly but I only go there for a couple quick items any way. The checkout process seems painfully slow. Certian machines lock up or just very slow to process payment. I usually try to pay in cash to avoid this but you can still get stuck behind someone using their EBT card taking forever. It's either super fast or 7 people waiting on one register, seems like no in-between. It's a typical dollar store. No better no worse."
