First Watch

"The food is great, well prepared. The service is good as well besides me being brought my “Million Dollar Bacon” 10 minutes ahead of the rest of my food. I had to decline and tell them to wait until I’m brought all of my food. That’s my only gripe. The atmosphere is welcoming for what it’s worth. Depends on what’s “welcoming” in your eyes but it’s not unfriendly. In the end I highly recommend eating at this place. I’ve eaten at all 3 greater B’ham locations: Hoover, Vestavia, 280. Hoover’s the best in my opinion. The “MDB” is great. Pancakes are great. Italian Omelet I most recently had for first time was great as well as the grits. My girlfriend had French toast and loved it. Food has always hit the spot."

"I decided to treat myself to breakfast this morning, googled some new spots, and then pick one. I can to First Watch, was seated pretty quickly. I sat for about 10 minutes, and no one came to greet me. Others are coming in being seated after me, waiters addressing them immediately and taking their orders. I went back to the hostess and asked if I could be moved to a section with a waiter because no one had come to address me yet. He went looking for the waiter Carlin (of which I saw this guy come towards me when I first sat down, but he started to take his apron off and disappeared to the back). So he got Joseph to assist me. He was very apologetic, and he took my drink and food order. So they sat two more tables next to me, and the initial waiter came out to assist them. So I'm already looking at like hmmmmm ok. He tried his best not to look at me because he already knew, but it was cool. Joseph was great. Besides the initial snap-foo, the food was amazing, the turkey sausage gravy and biscuits just melted in your mouth. I also tried the works omelet and seasoned potatoes. I had got the morning meditation fresh juice to go, which included orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar, and beet. So delicious. Overall, it is a nice atmosphere and great food. I'll come again."

"I saw a video about First Watch’s new summer items and decided to stop by to try a few items. The service was great as usual. I had the new Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast. It was the perfect amount of sweetness. The strawberries also help keep the French toast from feeling too heavy. I also recommend the Honey Caramel Crunch Iced Coffee."

"Friend and I hit this place up for Brunch the other day and it was all great! Super friendly server, lots of choices on the menu and comfortable atmosphere. We shared a Chickichanga, Floridian French Toast and a Biscuit and Gravy, everything was awesome and we were stuffed!"
