"I worked there for a week. First day there my first impression was the kitchen was filthy and i immediately started cleaning. During my training I was sent home early everyday right after the rush. It was only 5 hour shifts and the point of training is to let the person learn the job not use them for busy time then send them home. I was a training manager for over six years and you use down time to let the person training get a feel for the tickets and serving the entrees. I hope the new owners can turn it around and by the way they are hiring it looks like they know they need to replace some people. I wish them the best and would suggest when they hire new people they do a better job training them because I feel their management when I was there has forgotten what it's like to be new at a job because they have been there so long. Even with the schooling and experience I have you can't expect someone to start and know the whole menu in a few days thats absurd. A clean kitchen is a happy kitchen and produces better product."

"My son and I visited your location for the 1st time last Sunday. Upon arrival, we noticed the cleanliness of the restaurant was excellent. The food was also good. Nothing extraordinary that would prompt me to write a review until we were greeted by our server. I believe her name was Ema. She was polite, knowledgeable, and prompt. Excellent customer service skills!!! She made our visit a special memorable one. Thank you Ema."

"We got seated right away And they took the order right away but that was the last time we saw the waitress till we paid. At an hour and 10 minutes we asked when is the food coming to somebody other than our waitress because she was nowhere to be seen. All of a sudden are food comes but not from the waitress it comes from somebody else at a hour and 20 minutes of having been there. But it was our waitress that took our payment and not once did she apologize for the very long wait. They must be short-staffed because it was half empty as far as tables concerned. But it seems like the waitress would have stopped by a couple of times and said "I'm so sorry for the wait can I refill your drinks can I get you anything" Extremely bad service!"

"There was a 20-minute wait to be seated and ended up being 45+. There were hardly any customers in the restaurant. Also, at one point, 6 employees were jaw-jacking by the register talking about shopping instead of helping customers. After being seated, the restaurant had less than 10 tables in use. Our waitress said the kitchen got slammed with to go orders, so they stopped seating customers. On the positive side, our waitress was April, was awesome. She kept up with everything and has a great personality. The food was very good."

"This International House of Pancakes is located near Cobbs Ford road in Prattville, Alabama. It caters to a lot of customers from the local hotels that surround it. This should be a high volume establishment, but it appears that this business, like many others, suffers from a lack of wait staff. My party of 7 mostly enjoyed their food, but it was slow for an almost empty restaurant. The waitress we had seemed overworked, waiting on too many tables"
