"Thanks for repairing my old and cracked chimney. Mike was very responsive and educated me patiently with me about my options. Brickwork and top of chimney were done perfectly. The chimney cover got mangled and then fell off in a storm days after execution. They got it right and replaced it with a new covers. Finally my chimney looks as nice or nicer as/than the rest of my house."
"Madison Maintenance did an excellent job on our project. Mike was specific on what they would do and even went above and beyond. His price was fair and he was easy to work with. His crew was efficient and did an amazing job with matching the mortar and original joints on a 100 year old house. Highly recommended."
"Madison Maintenance worked on my house to repair serious bird damage. Woodpeckers drilled large holes in the stucco on my Tudor-style house. They also discovered serious dry rot of the decorative timbers and offered several solutions regarding repair / replacement. They fit me into their tight schedule so that repairs could be completed before winter sets in. I cannot say enough positive things about their work. The replacement of stucco board and timbers and painting was absolutely perfect. The project manager was communicative and extremely helpful, and the crew lead has an eagle eye for detail. The crew worked as a well-coordinated, tireless team. No one took a break at all during the workday. They were very careful of my garden beds when they erected scaffolding and made sure that the jobsite was tidy at the end of each day. They even swept the driveway to make sure there were no nails on the surface. Each worker was courteous and respectful. I will never work with another mason. Madison Maintenance was the best and exceeded my expectations."
"Highly recommend Madison for many reasons. Our house is built in 1929 and is brick (multiple colors) and stone. We we needed the chimney rebuilt and several areas of tuck pointing. They did an amazing job with brick matching and mortar color matching. And I am "picky" for sure, especially since we want to keep the house as "authentic" as possible. Crew was polite and professional. Excellent safety protocol. And I was very happy with the price, especially considering that they were working on the house for multiple days. Other quotes were much higher."
"I called Madison Maintenance to fix the steel lintel above the side door originally - but was sold on a whole home package (over $4000) that included: installing a new chimney cap, fixing the mortar around the house/taking all out screws in the mortar, and installing new lintels above the 4 glass block windows in the basement, etc. The crew showed up and worked for a total of about 2-4 days. They got mortar all over my roof (did they not lay a tarp down?) which is still here almost a year later, got mortar on parts of my back patio, they installed a rusty lintel on at least the side door which was the reason I needed it replaced in the first place (see pictures) which I asked they address after they completed the job and they came back and just caulked over it as a solution, and I had to call them back as I was still finding screws in the mortar that they were supposed to take out. Additionally, they did not caulk or cover up the gaps in all of the glass block windows and I'm fairly certain that the lintels they replaced here were rusty too. Anyway, not covering the gaps was allowing for cold air to come in and I had to go purchase caulk and take care of the job they didn't finish there too. There were chips of mortar in my basement from each glass block window lintel installation, and tons of chipped bricks and mortar that they left outside each glass block window as well... The crew took short cuts, didn't finish the job without an additional call or two, and left my house a mess. It's difficult to find a good and reliable company for mortar work, I will be going somewhere else next time my house needs tuckpointing and brick/mortar work."
