"We had 5 star service and pricing when we had issues with our boiler, but 3 star service and pricing for plumbing. We were left scratching our heads as to why the face plate on our shower handle just dangled in space leaving a large gap behind it. Our shower was unusable. Then I realized he put the handle sleeve/stem on backwards. A quick fix once I realized the plumber's mistake, but why did I have to find and fix the mistake? I probably should have replaced the valve myself (I have before, I just did not think that I had the time to do it)."
"Do not waste your time or money with this place. I contacted Home Service Center to come out and diagnose a leaking commercial refrigerator, we set an appointment for two days after. I was told it would be a $99 service fee and this would be taken off my final invoice if I accepted service. One hour before the appointment they called asking to push it to later in the day and I accommodated, 10 minutes later they called asking to move my appointment to another day. When the technician finally did arrive it was outside of the time window they gave me. After diagnosing the refrigerator I told him I would come to the office to pay the service charge in cash. At their office they told me I was being charged an additional $88 dollars for diagnosing. Their explanation was that the $99 charge is to get them through the door. I will never work with this company again and I encourage anyone thinking of using them to find another option."
"Probably the most knowledgeable technician I have ever encountered. Explained everything so my mom could understand. Hey even accidentally over paid 200 dollars and they sent a check back. So they are you know they are honest. highly recommend to everyone. They have awesome maintenance plans. Just a great business altogether."
"I called Home Service Center and was pleasantly greeted by "Julie" on the phone. She directed me to the owner, "Matt." I explained that I needed to replace a water heater and a toilet. While I already had obtained a toilet from Kohler, I needed to get a new water heater. I advised Matt as to what I wanted which was a 75 gallon fast recovery heater. This is quite large and unusual for most homes. I was advised that he would get a price from his supplier and get back to me with a quote. Within a few days I received a complete quote by email. A service date & time was arranged. As promised, "Jake" & "Cody" arrived at the appointed time and proceeded to complete the job. Obviously, Jake was the lead in terms of age, experience and knowledge and Cody was very competent and most eager to learn more about his craft. They got the old units out and the new ones in with minimal disruption to our day. We have had any number of trades people in our home but none any more pleasant, considerate, courteous and efficient than these 2 men. And they were fastidious about cleaning up after they finished. I felt they really treated our home as if it were their own. We would not hesitate to recommend Home Service Center to anyone who needs a mechanical (plumbing, heating & a/c) contractor in their home."
"Julie is the best when I call for service. She is always sweet and polite, and always willing to do the best for us customers! She’s a true professional! Matt, Jay, & Jake are all the best too! Always on time, very knowledgeable, and ready to help in every way. I’ve been with them since their beginning, I carry the Gold Contract for my furnace and air conditioning , and have my water heater, and humidifier under contract as well.
