"The employees refused to bring my curbside items to my car, due to discrimination and then PURPOSELY provided the wrong number to corporate, after being whispered about amongst the employees that were behind the counter. From the beginning: I called when i arrived in the designated curbside parking spot and was told that someone would bring my items momentarily. 20 minutes and a few Janet Jackson youtube videos later, I was still sitting there awaiting my items. I called again, no one answered. I called a 3rd time and was told, again, that someone would bring my items in a moment. Another 10 minutes passed and I went into the store to help them figure out the problem because it doesn't take an unbusy store over 30 minutes to bring curbside. When I entered the store, the employees weren't friendly and No one greeted me. The guy at the register never acknowledged me. A girl brought the basket filled with water and several other heavy items and they then REFUSED to bring my items to the car for me, although it was a curbside order that I was forced to enter the store to retrieve. I asked for corporate's number and was given the WRONG number. These people didn't think I'd be smart enough to call the number once I made it to my car. Once I discovered that I was DELIBERATELY given the wrong number, I was forced to go BACK INTO THE STORE to get a real number because that one led to a busy signal (wrong #). The guy who originally refused to assist me and bring my items, then went into his phone and gave the correct number to corporate. No apologies, no empathy only MISTREATMENT & DISCRIMINATION from these store employees. The guy who gave the correct number to Corp didn't even have a nametag on but he said he was Brandon and the girl who purposely gave me the wrong # is Megan. I don't believe that I was given the correct names if they purposely gave me the wrong # for Corp and REFUSED to assist me and if I'm the only African american woman in the entire, empty store, then I'm left feeling that this was blatant discrimination. I'm so offended that I'm not going to end with just a mere review, I'll be going to FB next and tagging the Big Lots corp in my post. And it won't just end there either. The actions of these low wage, low class people are unacceptable. Audacity must have been on sale yesterday !! I also broke a nail when I was forced to load (2) packages of Dasani 32-pack water bottles into my car myself because, again, these people refused to provide curbside service or any assistance. My nail is broken and is in extreme pain due to the refusal of service based on my Race. Because of the mistreatment I received by this store's employees along with the emotional stress I experienced, I am seriously considering exploring my options with a pain and suffering attorney."

"Liked just about anything & everything in the store. Also the prices are mostly on point with other competitors. But my only complaint is a product we bought that said 10 ft lights only had five bulbs on it and it was not 10 ft but I don't believe that was Big lots fault it was the product manufacturer's fault That's my only complaint other than that great store awesome employees and I would go back and recommend it over and over"
