Reviews
"I ordered 10 trees last Oct for delivery in spring 2022. I was told the trees would be delivered in April. Here we are in later June, still no trees. They have stopped responding to my emails for delivery status updates. I have sent them notice to cancel my order. Save your energy & shop elsewhere."
"I am a bit late on my review but I ordered some bare root Japanese Red Maple trees last year. It was an easy order process, prices were reasonable and the saplings arrived on time and in great shape. I am totally happy with the entire process and products delivered."
"I have purchased several hundred bare root transplants from Pat and Molly over the last several years, mainly for reforestation projects around Chicago, IL. The trees are excellent quality and their customer service is outstanding with excellent pricing. I highly recommend them and feel we’re very lucky to have farms like theirs producing trees. Don’t take these kinds of operations for granted and cut em some slack if you don’t hear back in a nanosecond."
"Ordered 10 white swamp oaks for April delivery. The oaks arrived on schedule, bare root and dormant. They were bundled together and wrapped in plastic, roots were dry when received, temperatures dropped below freezing during shipping. The bark on several trees was pretty beat up. I figured they would still grow and planted the trees. Only three of the trees budded and grew. I sent an email to Porcupine Hollow Farm in July asking if there was anything they could do about the 7 trees that did not grow. No response. These trees were $22 a piece. UPDATE TO REVIEW- Porcupine Hollow didn't receive my original email, after talking with them, they are going to replace the trees in the spring. Great customer service!"
"I ordered some evergreen seedlings and didn't realize they were a different variety than what I ordered. Contacted Molly and Pat who corrected the order and sent me replacements. I just received those and got them planted...they were healthy, good looking seedlings... Very good folks. I highly recommend this nursery."
