"Decided to start our North Country Trail Hike100, 2024 journey at Bowman Lake trail. We did a 4 mile loop with longer and shorter options available in the area. The landscape is beautiful. Rolling hills, mature forest, and open meadows scattered her and there. The lake is beautiful as well, nestled in a valley with hills all around. We counted 4 rustic campsites around the lake, which all had ample space, and two of them are pretty secluded. Would love to come back in the fall to see the colors and camp along the lake. As for parking plenty of space with a north and south lot to choose from. It's definitely worth checking out and stretching your legs."
