"I needed a Flatbed tow recently from Rockford to Detroit, to get my vehicle to a performance shop for an engine replacement. I called and spoke to Krista for a quote and scheduling, and she was extremely helpful in communicating between myself and the driver to set up a day/time-frame. The driver showed up on time, was careful loading and securing my car, and made sure to confirm with me that someone would be at the delivery location to receive/unload it. He even went above and beyond to make sure that the shop owner knew that I was going to be there a bit later in the day to sign paperwork (I had made initial arrangements to meet him in Detroit to unload the vehicle, but had to change plans last minute due to a work meeting). I'm very appreciative that Nelson's carefully and securely transported my vehicle over such a distance. I highly recommend Nelson's to anyone looking for a tow in the Rockford area, and will definitely be using them again should I need a tow in the future!"

"I had my vehicle towed without approval from Kent County out near Belding area. My vehicle was down in a ditch with the snow so it was not a traffic hazard. I’m not even sure how Kent county found this guy/“company” because it was so far out of the way where my vehicle was. I called Nelson’s towing and was transferred around on my call to people who did not have information on my vehicle when they towed it just hours prior. I find out with no holds that my vehicle was $455 to get out. I had my roommate and her boyfriend bring their flatbed trailer out to get it out. We drove past the listed address as it was not clearly marked and long behold it was the guys front yard that my vehicle was at. We could not find a business anywhere. It is not fenced or protected so my vehicle was just there open for anyone to come as they please. The charges they had were not even logical and were in it in my eyes as a quick buck. I highly recommend not having your vehicle towed and brought there. Very muddy, vehicles all over, no protection from pass through traffic and unethical charges. It gave me the Wrong Turn vibes."
