"I didn't think the food had any flavor. I think it's odd to put shredded cheese on nachos and not queso. I ordered a side of queso and it was so bland. The food did not taste fresh. I'm used to authentic tex-mex in other states, this food fell short. OWNER- Use more seasoning and add queso to burritos and all nacho options. Do not use leftovers from the following day. Or pre-made foods... canned, bagged, or pre cut. You will save money and the food will be better."

"I really enjoyed this place! The staff was very nice and the atmosphere was cheerful. The food was very good! I had the Bayou Nachos with steak and it was amazing. It is a little pricey, but definitely worth trying out!"

"We are from south Texas, and rarely try Mexican food out side of there because it is not trx-mex. That being said, this food was very good. Not flavored exactly like we have back home. But pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The service was excellent. The staff is friendly and happy to have stopped here."

"I recently just started ordering from here and I gotta say, I love it. I usually get the tamales or burrito supreme and I have been more than pleased each time. I gotta say, this is the only restaurant I've ever ordered from that I didn't need to salt the food before I ate. They season their food perfectly for me. The staff is super friendly, tho I've never eaten in. I've always ordered to go. The prices are reasonable and won't break the bank. The last few times I've ordered, they have been out of a couple of things, but besides that, this place is quickly becoming one of my top picks when it comes to restaurants in the Bayou. Food is great, service is great, orders are made fast and fresh and prices are affordable. What else could u ask for?"

"Food was decent. It was not busy and employees seemed to be hanging out talking the entire time instead of service. Instead of bringing more chips and salsa she pushed an appetizer dip after meal was ordered. More of a on the way home place to eat than actually going out to eat at."
