"Beautiful wooded sites. You feel like you are camping in a forrest. Very peaceful. The beach is nice. Kayaking Crystal Lake was lovely. Most staff were nice. One lady who is a manager is not at all welcoming or nice and apparently this is an on going issue as they get constant complaints about her. If you can avoid her, definitely go and have a very peaceful camping experience."
"Beautiful, almost heaven. 150 sites, sand beach on lake paddle boats canoeing, mini golf store propane. Mainly seasonal campers. Great Campers! Pumps water out of his own wells. Not exactly clear."
"This is the 4th time we've been here and it sadly keeps going downhill. This year we came in mid June and NOTHING was open/available; no rentals and the camp store was closed thee entire time we were there (Wednesday-Sunday). The sites are tiny, barely enough room for our 23 foot fifth wheel camper. The sites are mainly dirt and weeds and the weeds were so tall, seems they hadn't been trimmed in weeks. The wifi is useless, not able to connect and this is a small campground (not important for us, just worth mentioning). The water is yellow/rusty. Two positives are paved roads so the kids can ride bikes easily and the beach/lake. It's shallow, very nice for small kiddos as it doesn't get deep quickly. Very clear. Of note though the groundskeeper mowed and weed whipped the area surrounding the lake mid day while we were at the beach (the only sunny day), made it hard to have conversations. I've never been to a campground in June that was so empty, seemed like we were one of the only ones there (a lot of seasonals but they seemed empty too). Expensive for no available amenities."
"We've camped here for a few years and were happy with the get back to nature feel of the campground. However, this year we were ready to book a full hook up site, with one tent and were told "no". It's been allowed in previous years. The female assisting us was extremely confrontational with my husband when he questioned if the rules had changed. When asked to speak with the owner, who's always been very pleasant, we were denied. How very sad that a service based business has lost service and their friendly charm."
"Wonderful family friendly campground! The owner is always kind anytime we've camped here. The bathhouse isnt the greatest but I'm not here to spend hrs. In the restroom so it doesnt bother me any! The beach is so gorgeous and they offer fun activities too (paddle boats, kayaks, mini golfing, and there's a pool table room too!) The best place to come to relax and enjoy nature!"
